For some reason, that answer upset Lucas. He moved off the top of Cody and sat on the edge of the bed. He ran a hand over his bald head. "I...I don't get it...I've done everything for you..."

Cody frowned as he sat up, silently cursing at himself, hesitating before crawling across the bed to Lucas. "I...I wasn't saying no, y-you just surprised me." He said quietly.

"you aren't saying yes either," he angrily whispered, not bothering to look at Cody.

"...yes I am." Cody said quietly after a minute, making sure he sounded like he really did mean it; though he had his head down, feeling guilty for upsetting him.

Lucas turned to him, a light look in his eyes, "You...you mean it? You'll marry me?"

"Yes." Cody smiled, nodding. He slowly moved closer to Lucas, reaching a hand out to touch his shoulder.

Lucas grinned and threw his arms around Cody, pressing small and almost feminin kisses to Cody's face, "Oh God Codes you've made me the happiest man on the Earth..."

Cody giggled at Lucas' response, wrapping his arms around the older man's neck. "You aren't going to challenge anyone else who says that are you?" He asked jokingly.

"Only if I have to fight for your freedom," Lucas shrugged and kissed him again, "we should tell everyone."

Cody smiled and leaned close as Lucas kissed him, tightening his arms around Lucas' neck. "Later..." Cody said, kissing him back.

Lucas grinned and pinned him to the wall gently, "That's right, we were in the middle of something..."

Cody giggled and nodded. "Yes, we were." He said, smirking at Lucas.

Lucas grinned softly, "You're gonna act like you know what you're doing or you gonna be the shy kid I fell in love with?
"

"Um...that depends," Cody said, looking up at Lucas. "...on what you want."

Lucas smirked, "I want whatever you're willing to give me."

"Anything..." Cody said, staring at Lucas, pulling him closer to him.

Lucas smiled and slowly eased into Cody, "LIke this?"

Cody nodded and smiled, wrapping his arms around Lucas' neck a little tighter.

"Be careful not to choke me man," Lucas chuckled as he moved.

"Why would I do that?" Cody asked, loosening his grip a little anyway, as if he was worried he might actually end up choking him.

"You wouldn't," Lucas replied as he moved, "but accidents do happen..."

"I-I know they do..." Cody said before moaning. "But sometimes they're good ones...like falling in love with you." He added with a shy smile.

"Oh yeah..." Lucas groaned, "one of the best surprises of all..."

Cody giggled, gently pulling Lucas' face closer so he could kiss him. "Still think having to protect me is a waste of time?" He asked afterwards.

"Never," Lucas moaned as he kissed Cody deeply.
