A Supernatural Hunt

Peter nodded and opened the door.

"Its okay..." Jayden started before seeing Marco returned.

"Well yeah..."
Dante stood there blushing.

The fae jumped when he saw Marco and Peter, making a nervous sound before trying to back away.

"Who's that'd?" Marco frowned when he saw him.

"I- why me?" Jasper asked nervously.

Jayden bit his lip, "Alistair brought him in..."

"Because I can't..." Alex answered.

"When?" Marco asked.

Jasper raised an eyebrow. "Since when?"

"Just after you left..." Jayden said softly, in a way shielding the blonde from them even though they were nicer then Alistair.

"Since I ended up with my mark."

Marco sighed, then remembered what Mason had asked him to do later and just shrugged his shoulders. "Right. Well I've got a friend here who can help you with finding the angel."

Jasper tried to hide a grin. "Oh, so you asked him...?"

Jayden nodded slowly, looking at Peter. Slowly he took what tape Peter heard out to him.

Alex flushed softly, "We talked a little about it."

"Is that all you need?" Marco asked the shapeshifter.

"Oh I see." Jasper smirked.

Jayden nodded, "Yeah it should be..." He said quietly.

Alex's blush grew a little.

"Alright then." Marco said before looking at Peter.

"So. You two are...?" Jasper asked, just to be annoying.

"Well give you an hour to work on it then we'll head out." Peter said.

Alex shoved at Jasper's arm, "Jasper..."

Trying his best to be nice, to avoid scaring the shifter, Marco gave a small smile. "Do you need anything else?" He asked Jayden.

"What-?"
Artemis was watching with wide eyes, his face red, embarrassed by Jasper's questions.

Jayden shook his head shyly, "No thank you I think I've got all I'll need."

Alex turned and shifted into a fox before jumping into Artemis's pocket.

"Good."

"What're you-" Artemis started to ask when Alex shifted. "Hey." He said softly, reaching in to pet the fox.

"We'll leave you too it then." Peter smiled.

Alex leaned into the soft pet, relaxing as he sat in his pocket.

Marco nodded and turned to leave the room.

"You okay...?" Artemis asked quietly.

Peter followed him.
Jayden looked at the tape before playing it.

Alex nodded before sticking his head out of the pocket.

"What now?" Marco asked without turning, knowing Peter was the only one who'd really follow in the first place.

"...what's that?" The fae asked once the demons were gone, slowly going over to him, though he stopped a few steps away.

Artemis gave a small smile and gently scratched his ear.

"Now we get ready for a hunt, we've got to get ready to get that kitsune."

"Its a tape, they asked me to help find someone that left... He only talks to his brother, but the brother is gone." Jayden answered softly.

Alex's tail moved happily at that.

"You think it'll work this time?"

"Oh..." The fae frowned.

Jasper sighed. "I'm sorry..." He said.

Peter grinned, "Yeah I do."

Jayden nodded, "Yeah."

Alex looked at his friend before his tail moved again.

"I hope so." Marco said.

"...why do they want the angel?"

Artemis carefully lifted the fox out of his pocket, carefully hugging him.

"I don't know... But it sounds important."

Alex curled close, feeling very happy.

"What did they say about it?" The fae asked.

Jasper turned to Dante. "We should probably leave them for now..." He said quietly.
Artemis leaned his head on the fox's, smiling softly.

"They said it was important that they get him to met them."

Dante nodded, "Okay."
Alex's tail moved slowly, smiling on the inside.
