A Supernatural Hunt

Mason smiled and pulled him into a kiss.

Dante nodded slowly, a faint blush on his face.
Alex nodded timidly, not sure what he'd do.

Marco gave up asking questions after that, wrapping an arm around Mason's neck instead, kissing back.

Jasper smiled and nodded. "Good."
"...what does that mean?" Artemis asked.

Mason smiled he slowly pulled back a few minutes later.

Dante played with the hem of his shirt before looking up, he could feel Fae magic like someone was sending a message.
"I-I don't know..." Alex admitted softly, all he had to go on was some of the stories his brother had told him. Some happy endings, some where one of the soulmates rejected the mark and left the other to either waste away or finally moved on. Alex wondered which he would end up being if Artemis rejected him, he had survived the killing of his people so Alex hoped he be strong enough to move on, but part of him knew it would be hard.

Marco gave a small smile as he pulled away, resting a hand on Mason's chest.

"What?" Jasper said when he noticed.
"Oh..." Artemis said quietly, shifting his feet nervously.

Mason placed his hand over his.

Dante frowned as the note appeared in his hand, "Must be a note from another fae..." He frowned as he opened it.
"Y-Your not stuck with me... Not if you don't wanna... I mean..."

"I'm sorry..." Marco said quietly. "For before."

"They do that?" Jasper asked, pulling a face.
"...is that your way of asking me out?" Artemis asked, laughing quietly.

"Its alright Marco." Mason said softly.

Dante frowned, "The royals can..." He frowned as he read the note, "W-What?!"
Alex blushed shyly. "S-Sort of..." He said softly.

"No it's not, I shouldn't doubt you."

Jasper raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"
"Oh..." Artemis said quietly. "Um- I might not mind being stuck with you..."

Mason hugged him. "I understand why though."

"Its from one of the advisers... They want to form an treaty Elves and they want to use marriage as base for it... And they want to use me for that..."
"Y-You wouldn't?" Alex asked, his voice sounding hopeful.

Marco slowly leaned against him. "You do?"

Jasper pulled a face. "The Elves? As in those weirdos who were here the other day? To who?"
Artemis shrugged his shoulders and gave a small smile. "Could be worse, you could be a vampire." He said jokingly.

"Many things have been happening and you thought I was going replace you."

Dante nodded nervously, "They don't say who... I-I don't want to though..."
Alex gave a smile at that, "True."

"I shouldn't though." Marco said quietly.

"You don't?"
"He's a bit too...loud for me to deal with." Artemis said. "You aren't though."

"ITs okay." Mason said quietly.

"No... I-I don't..." Dante said softly.
Alex nodded with a small smile.

"You sure?" Marco asked, looking up at him.

"Why not?" Jasper asked curiously.
Artemis shyly reached a hand out to him.

Mason nodded with a kind smile. "Yes, now let's go see that shape shifter."

"Because... I-I don't want to marry someone I don't know... A-And I think I have feelings for someone..." Dante admitted.
Alex shyly took his hand.

"Alright." Marco nodded.

"Oh." Jasper said. "Right."
Artemis gave a shy smile.

Mason started for Alistar's work room.

Dante bit his lip and looked back at the note.
Alex smiled back and softly squeezed his hand.

Marco followed after him, letting out a sigh of relief when he realised Alistair wasn't around.

Jasper leaned closer to try and read it, frowning.
Artemis blushed and looked at his feet.

Mason looked around before spotting a stone table like the one that Casey had woken up on.
Jayden laid sleeping.

Dante rubbed his head sadly, unsure of what he could do to get out of this and what to do about his feelings.
Alex blushed as well.

Marco looked around nervously, hating anything to do with Alistair. When he saw the table, he reached out using his powers instead of his own hand to poke Jayden. "Wake up." He said.

"...does this mean you have to go see them?" Jasper asked.
"I um-" Artemis started, not knowing what to say.

Jayden woke up, looking confused when he looked around, "H-Huh..?"

"If I'm going to do as they want me too... But I don't want to... I'm not sure how to get out of this..."
Alex shifted nervously. "S-So..."

"You're Jayden, right?" Marco asked.

"Hm. I'm not sure." Jasper frowned.
Artemis watched him curiously. "...yeah?"

Jayden nodded nervously as he glanced around.

Dante sighed sadly and sat down, the note dropping down.
"Are you still hungry?" Alex asked softly.

Marco glanced at Mason. "You want to explain?"

Jasper bent down and caught it before it touched the ground before slowly sitting back down beside him.
Artemis nodded. "A little."

"Maybe you should..." Mason said softly.
Jayden looked at the two of then, feeling nervous around them.

Dante rubbed his head, his mind all over the place.
"I'll make it then." Alex said softly before looking to Artemis.
