First Night On The Job

Alex smiled and picked up the other kitten, "I guess that makes his new brother here Thor." He giggled lightly.
"Your ok Mikey." zane said.

Artemis smiled and kissed Alex's cheek, putting Loki on Alex's lap.

"Didn't mean for it to be that bad..." Mikey muttered, looking down at his bandaged wrist.

Alex smiled as he petted the two kittens, giggling softly when one climbed on him.
"I was worried.." Zane whispered.

Artemis grinned before looking over at the doorway to see who'd let the kittens in.

"Why...?" Mikey asked quietly.

Dante grinned from the doorway.
"B-Because...."

Artemis stuck his tongue out at him.

Mikey just looked at Zane curiously, tired.

Dante giggled softly as Alex waved.
"I care...." Zane said.

"Come here." Artemis said, holding his arms out for a hug.

"...really?" Mikey asked quuietly.

Dante went over with a smile.
Zane nodded.

Artemis wrapped his arms around Dante once he was close enough and hugged him tight, giggling as Loki tried to climb on him.

Mikey stared at him, not sure what to say.

Dante smiled and reached to pet a kitten.
Zane bit his lip.

Artemis smiled and moved over to make room for Dante, running his fingers through Alex's hair.

Mikey smiled shyly, squeezing Zane's hand as best as he could.

Alex smiled.
Dante giggled when Thor climbed on Artemis's head.
Zane squeezed back.

"Hey!" Artemis chuckled, reaching a hand up to pet the kitten.

Mikey tried to sit up, looking annoyed when he realised he didn't have enough energy to.

The kitten meowed as he was petted.
Alex rubbed Loki's head.
"You ok?" Zane asked.

"So where's this one from?" Artemis asked as he lifted the kitten off his head, hugging it.

Mikey pouted and laid back down instead of answering.

"He was alone outside." Dante answered.
Zane squeezed his gand again.

"Aww, poor kitty." Artemis said, petting it. "He can stay here then."

Mikey gave a small smile and relaxed a little.

dante smiled and nodded.
Alex yawned softly.
Zane smiled.

Artemis smiled, putting Thor on Dante's lap before pulling Alex closer, hugging him.

Mikey pulled his hand out of Zane's and held his arm out, wanting a hug.

Alex smiled as he hugged him.
Zane moved to hug him.

Artemis smiled and leaned his head against Alex's.

Mikey relaxed more at the hug, burying his face against Zane's shoulder.

Dante smiled as he watched, both kitten's in his arms.
Alex smiled softly at Artemis.
Zane smiled softly.

"Oh!" Artemis said, remembering something. He got up off the bed and went to the closet, searching for a minute before coming back, holding out a small box to Alex. "I never got around to giving you this with everything that's been going on, so here..." he said before looking nervous. "That is...if you still want to..."

"I'm sorry..." Mikey said quietly, apologising for making Zane worry.

Alex looked at the small box before hugging Artemis tightly, "Of course, i love you..." He said softly, "So much."
"Its ok, i'm just glad your ok." Zane said softly.
