First Night On The Job

Artemis grinned and leaned close as Alex hugged him, wrapping his arms around Alex's waist. "I love you too." he said, kissing Alex.

Mikey nodded and slowly moved away, laying back down.

Alex smiled as he hugged back.
Frankie sat watching Jacen.
Zane still held his hand.

Artemis carefully pulled Alex onto his lap, holding him close.

Mikey blushed when he realised, covering his face with his bandaged hand.

Alex curled uo against him.
Zane slowly let go of his hand.

"You're meant to look at it." Artemis whispered, kissing Alex's head.

Mikey moved his hand away from his face, making an upset sound as he reached for Zane's hand, wanting it back.

Alex flushed, "Sorry just so excited.."He said before slowly opening the box and looking at the ring.
zane took his hand again, "Sorry."

Artemis chuckled and pulled Alex closer against him. "You like it?" he asked.

Mikey gave a small smile, holding onto Zane's hand as tight as he was able to. "Um...does anyone else know...?" he asked quietly.

"I love it Arty!" Alex said before kissing him softly.
"No i rushed you here and have been here the whole time." Zane said.

Artemis smiled and kissed Alex back.

"You have...?" Mikey said, looking guilty.

Alex smiled before putting his ring on. "I love you.'
Dante carried the kitten's to the living room.
"I had to make sure you were ok." Zane said.

"Love you." Artemis said, kissing him again.
"Had enough of playing with the kittens in there?" Jasper asked.

Mikey gave a small smile before staring at the bandaged wrist again.

Alex smiled softly as he kissed back.
Dante nodded, "Yeah... They needed so0me alone time."
Zaane squeezed his hand.

Artemis carefully laid down with Alex, still kissing him.
Jasper nodded, holding his arms out. "Oh well, more time with me then." he grinned.

Mikey sighed and looked back at Zane.

Alex curled in closer.
Dante smiled and went over.
Zane looked at him.

Artemis wrapped his arms tight around Alex, leaning closer to kiss his neck.
Jasper smiled and petted both the kittens in Dante's arms before carefully hugging him.

Mikey laid back against the pillow, yawning.

Alex made a soft content noise.
Dante smiled, "Love you."
"You should rest." Zane said.

Artemis continued for a bit before relaxing, holding Alex close.
"Love you." Jasper replied, kissing Dante's cheek.

Mikey went to argue, but sighed and nodded instead, slowly closing his eyes.

Alex smiled and curled in close.
Dante smiled before going to set the kitten's in the box.
Zane sighed softly as he watched.

"Lexie...?" Artemis saidquietly after a few minutes.
Jasper smiled as he watched.

Mikey quickly fell asleep, looking more peaceful than he had at all while awake.

'Yeah Arty?" Alex asked softly.
Dante went back over to Jasper.
Zane smiled softly.

"Um..." Artemis said as he thought of how to ask what he wanted to. "...would you, at some point...want to try again...?" he asked quietly, gently putting a hand on Alex's stomach.
Jasper took Dante's hand and pulled him closer.
Jacen was sitting in his office by an open window, smoking inside instead of going into the garden like he usually would.

Alex nodded slowly, as he put him hand over Artemis's, "Yes i would... i'm not sure when but i really would...." Alex said softly, tearing up slightly, "D-Do you think it would of been a boy or girl?"
Dante smiled as he curled close.
"You worried?" Frankie asked.

Artemis bit his lip, a sad look in his eyes. "I...I don't know..."
Jasper wrapped his arms around Dante after sitting down with him.
"Oh," Jacen said when he looked up and saw Frankie. "No, not at all..." he said sarcastically, running his free hand through his hair.

Alex put his face in Artemis's neck.
Dante smiled softly, "I think your moving into my room."
"Sorry...." Frankie said softly, turning to go.

Artemis frowned and hugged Alex close, rubbing his back.
"Oh?" Jasper said, raising an eyebrow. "Why's that?"
"No, don't go..." Jacen said, almost begging him.
