First Night On The Job

Paul relaxed again Brian.
Alex only looked at Artemis's his eyes glazrd over though there was a hint a sadness.

Brian kissed Paul's head, holding him close.

"Lexie...it's me..." Artemis said, once he was sure he was calm enough, so his usual southern accent could be heard.

Paul managed a small smile as he closed his eyes.
"He can't hear you, not thanks to the drug." Raven smirked.

Brian sighed and stroked his fingers through Paul's hair, letting him rest while they travelled.

"You monster!" Artemis growled, hitting his cuffed hands against the bars. "I should have killed you when I had the chance!" he said angrily, forgetting Darryl and Phil were in the room.

Phil found himself glaring at Raven, before looking at Darryl angry.
Alex didn't even react.
Raven laughed, "You shouldn't of taken Frankie....... He was mine!" Raven growled, "But now your dear Lexie is mine and your never getting your kid back either!"

Artemis shook his head, too stubborn to think he never would get them back, though he still couldn't stop himself from tearing up. "He wasn't yours, he chose to leave."

Darryl ignored Phil, watching Raven incase he wanted him to do something for him.

Raven glared at Artemis, 'He had been mine since he was fourteen!"
Phil couldn't believe when he heard that.
Raven nuzzled at Alex's neck, "It doesn't matter now, i have Alex here...."

"Leave him alone!" Artemis shouted angrily after hitting his handcuffs against the bars again in frustration, the dark look he'd had in his eyes at Raven's starting to return.

"You don't want to scare Lexie do you?" Raven laughed.
Alex had jumped slightly.

Artemis froze at what Raven said, frowning when he realised he'd scared Alex. He sank to his knees and hung his head, leaning his arms against the bars. "I'm sorry Lexie..." he mumbled, though he doubted Alex would hear it anyway.

Raven laughed, leading Alex back to the car.
Phil glared at Darryl, "So that is why he was so suddenlt dangerous..... Your low Darryl."

"He's killeda lot of people..." Darryl said, though he did actually look a little guilty, knowing Raven wasn't any better.

Artemis bit his lip to stop himself from letting out a sob, keeping his head down so his hair hid the fact that he was crying.

"I would of probably done the same thing if ir had been Rafe, especially with Raven's men!" Phil glared at Darryl, "And he drugged someone right in first of us Darryl!"
Alex looked at Raven.
Dante was curled up tight in one of the rooms.

"It's Raven, if we told him off for it he'd probably do to our familys like he did theirs..." Darryl said, frowning as Artemis gave up and started sobbing.

Raven smiled at Alex before they headed back to Raven's.

Phil gave a weak glare before looking sadly at Artemis.
Paul woke up at a poke to his side.

Darryl frowned, muttering some excuse to leave Phil to keep an eye on Artemis.

"We're here." Brian said softly.

Phil sighed and walked up to Artemis, "I'm sorry about that..."
Paul nodded and climbed out of the car.

Artemis slowly lifted his head to look at Phil before looking around for Darryl, not knowing he'd left the room.

Brian got out after paying the driver, wrapping an arm around Paul again.

"Its just you and me man." Phil said.
paul looked at the house.

Artemis nodded and gave a small smile, though he was still in tears.

Brain led him up to the door before knocking, waiting a few minutes before Casey opened the door. "Hey."

"Here let me get the cuffs off you." Phil said.
Paul stood there nervously.

Artemis nodded and stayed still, waiting.

"Hey Casey." Brian said before turning to Paul. "It's okay Paul, he won't hurt you..."

Phil finished and put the cuffs on his belt, "Anyone you want me to call?"
Paul nodded, "Is he going to help us find Chris?"

Artemis slowly nodded. "My brother..."

"Chris who?" Casey asked, raising an eyebrow, frowning at the look on Brian's face that showed he didn't know.

Phil nodded, "I'll get on that."
"We don't know..... Just that he was forced to work for Mason." Paul said.
