First Night On The Job

"Thank you..." Artemis said quietly.

"Oh...so that might not even be his real name then," Casey sighed as he moved to let them in. "We'll have to go by what he looked like."

Phil called the Westmore's,
Paul looked at Brian.

Jacen was pacing in his office, Artemis' kitten watching him from the couch he'd been sitting on with it earlier. He jumped slightly as the phone rang and quickly went over to answer it. "A-Arty...?" he said, hoping it was him.

Brian gave a small smile and took Paul's hand to lead him inside.

"No my name is Phil Brooks, you brother was arrested thinks to Raven." Phil said.
Paul smiled softly.

"What?! Why?" Jacen asked. "Is....is he okay?"

Casey smiled and pointed to a couch. "Sit down and rest first," he said. "You look like you need it."

"He is fine, i'm working on getting him out." Phil said.
"But we have to find Chris...." Paul said softly.

Jacen sighed. "Right...thanks. How'd Raven even manage to do this?"

"I know," Casey said softly. "But you won't be much help to him if you're both too tired to really remember what he looked like."

"He got him on the attack.... But not on all the killings, their were no prints and most of the bodies are missing." Phil said.
Paul sighed and nodded, closeing his eyes.

"Oh..." Jacen said, unsure if that was a good thing or not after Phil said 'most of the bodies'.

Brian didn't look entirely happy about it, but held Paul close as he leaned back against the couch.

"Your brother just needs to beat the attack charge...." Phil said.
Paul only laid there for a little while before sitting up again.

"Raven technically provoked him though... he took his kid...and his fiance." Jacen said.

Brian was leaning against him with his eyes closed, half asleep thanks to the drugs.
"Is he okay?" Casey asked.

Phil nodded, "That might help, i hope i can get your brother out mr Westmore."
"He still has drugs in his sytem....." Paul said softly.

Jacen sighed. "Hopefully... and it's Jacen by the way." he said, correcting Phil. He didn't like being referred to as 'Mr. Westmore'.

Casey frowned. "What kind of drugs?"

"Ok Jacen, i'll call again when i have news." Phil said.
Paul explained the drug.

"Okay." Jacen said. "Thank you." Once he'd hung up the phone he went and sat back on the couch, putting his head in his hands.

Casey shook his head and sat there thinking for a bit before getting up. He disappeared into another room, eventually coming back with a drink. "Get him to try this." he said, handing the drink to Paul.

Frankie hugged him.
Paul nodded and woke Brian up.

"Frankie!" Jacen said after jumping slightly, having forgotten he was there.

Brian groaned, but opened his eyes, not looking happy about being woken up.

"You ok?" Frankie asked softly.
"Drink this." Paul said.

"They arrested him..." Jacen mumbled, curling up against Frankie.

Brian yawned and slowly sat up before taking the drink.

"Is he ok?" frankie asked.
Paul watched Brian drink.

"I think so..." Jacen said. "Though he's probably not very happy about it."

"He can rest for a bit afterwards if he wants, it might take a bit to start working." Casey said.

Frankie nodded, "You want to go see him?"
Paul nodded, "When can we start looking for Chris?"

"I don't know if they'll let us." Jacen frowned.

"I doubt they'll take him away from Mason's, so it's more finding out who he is so his family knows where to find him." Casey said.

Frankie nodded and hugged Jacen again.
Paul nodded.

Jacen sighed and curled up, laying his head in Frankie's lap.

Casey went to go get his laptop before sitting down on the other couch, facing them. "So what did he look like?" Casey asked.
