The Time For New Blood

Nolee smiled, "Thank you."

Jacen gave a small smile in return before getting up to put his emtpy plate in the sink.

Nolee sighed, "I should probably go visit Teegan and try to get Wade to go back to Sheamus..."

"What's the hurry?" Artemis asked, smirking. "We don't mind having you around, do we Jacen?" He said, looking at his brother.

"Uh...no not at all..." Jacen said nervously, blushing slightly as he looked away again.

Nolee smiled and blushed, "I just thought you would have things to do..."

"Everyone needs to take a break evry now and then. He's always in his office... Unless he's made me do all his work." Artemis said.

"Don't have much of a social life, hey Jacen?" Nolee teased.

"Ah...no, not really..." Jacen said, frowning. "Always too busy I guess."

"Busy?" Artemis said, raising an eyebrow. "You make me do half the work, most of it actually."

Nolee smiled, "He probably still does a lot Artie."

"Doubt it." Artemis said, chuckling.

Jacen just shook his head, smiling.

Nolee smiled and looked between the two brothers, "You two remind me of Carter and myself."

"How so?" Both of them asked at the same time.

"Your brother isn't a twin of yours...is he?" Artemis asked afterwards.

Nolee giggled, "No, no. Carter's not a twin. But he's got eyes that are like mine. You two just argue a lot but it's always good natured."

"Oh, we do occasionally have a proper arguement, but not as much as we once used to." Jacen said.

"You two should meet Carter. As southern boys you would probably appreciate him," Nolee chuckled.

"Probably." Jacen nodded. "You should bring him around next time."

"Or you two could come by my place," she smiled.

"That too..." Jacen said.

"Wouldn't hurt to get out of the house you know..." Artemis said.

Nolee smiled, "Lets see, it's a Tuesday? Then he'll be fine."

"Hmm?" Artemis said, a curious look on his face.

"You two should come over to my place today. Carter's not busy."

"Oh rgiht, sure." Jacen said.

Artemis sat staring out into the living room, not paying attention anymore.

"Artie, whats wrong?" Nolee asked, "Mikey can come too if you want."

Artemis smiled and blushed, having been just watching Mikey, who was sitting in the living room.

Nolee smiled and looked at Jacen, "You wanna come by with me?"
