First Night On The Job

Jasper smirked as he picked up Dante, holding him in his arms. "Now you can't run." he smirked.
Artemis had cleaned up the mess he'd made and wassitting on the edge of the bed, wearing jeans but no shirt, drying his hair after showering.
Mikey almost dropped the file he was holding. "I-I'm fine." he quickly said.

Dante giggled softly and gave a fake pout before curling close.
Alex smiled from the doorway.
"No your not....." Zane replied.

Jasper grinned and held him close. "Now that you're done running, what do you want to do?"
Artemis smiled when he saw Alex. "I'm not hugging you until you're clean." he said, pointing at the paint on Alex's clothes.
"Here." Mikey said, holding the file with the info Zane needed out to him, not looking directly at Zane, accidentally proving he was right.

Dante smiled, "you pick."
Alex pouted, 'Awww.."
Zane sighed as he took the file, "You know i'm right."

"Fine." Jasper said, taking Dante to his room, being closer. He laid down on the bed with him, relaxing.
"Go change then." Artemis said, sticking his tongue out.
Mikey rolled his eyes. "So?" he said, going to turn away.

dante smiled and curled close to Jasper.
Alex stuck his tongue out and took off his shirt.
"So whats wrong?" Zane asked.

Jasper rolled onto his side and hugged Dante close.
Artemis smiled and finished drying his hair.
"Everything." Mikey sighed sadly, giving up. He stood with his back to Zane as he said it before looking over his shoulder. "Except my actual job of course."

Dante smiled, loving being close to his Jasper.
Alex sat next to him.
Zane nodded slowly, "Need someone to talk too?"

Jasper smiled and kissed Dante before closing his eyes.
Artemis smiled and leaned against him.
Mikey shrugged his shoulders and went over to the couch he had in a corner of the room and sat down, his head in his hands.

Dante drifted off.
Alex smiled and curled close.
Zane sat next to him.

Artemis wrapped his arms around Alex's neck, kissing his cheek.
"Everyone here hates me..." Mikey mumbled. "Except Jacen...and maybe one other person..." he added, referring to Vincent.

Alex smiled softly.
"Why would they hate you/' Zane asked.

Artemis sighed as he looked down at the still not quite healed wound he had, frowning.
"It's a long story..." Mikey said quietly.

Alex softly touched it.
"I have time if you want an ear." Zane replied.

"Should have killed him too..." Artemis muttered
Mikey sighed and slowly lifted his head, sitting hugging his knees to his chest instead. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he explained everything to Zane.

Alex kissed his cheek.
Zane gave him a hug.

Artemis gave a small smile and moved closer to Alex, burying his face in his hair.
"I have issues with my family too..." Mikey said quietly, sounding close to tears as he leaned against Zane.

Alex closed his eyes, thankful he was with his Arty.
Zane hugged him tighter.

Artemis hugged Alex tight, not wanting to let go.
Mikey bit his lip, trying to stop himself from tearing up.

Alex relaxed the way that he only did around Artemis.
Zane rubbed his back.

Artemis smiled and moved to lay his head in Alex's lap.
Mikey gave up and started crying, putting his head in his hands again.

Alex smiles, leaning back, a little tired from being woke uo like he had been.
"Shhhh. Its ok." Zane m urmured softly.

Artemis curled up and closed his eyes. "Love you Lexie." he said quietly.
"No...no it's not." Mikey sobbed.

"Love you too Arty." Alex said softly as he smiled.
Zane hugged tighter.

Artemis moved his head off Alex's lap, laying beside him instead.
Mikey just curled up against him, still crying.
