First Night On The Job

Dante smiled softly, compeltly relaxed.
Zane nodded slowly.

Jasper hugged Dante tightly. "You okay?" he asked quietly.

Jacen gave a small smile and sat on one of the couches in his office, pointing at the other. "Sit down, please." he said.

dante gave a small nod, "Yeah..."
Zane sat down.

Jasper smiled and kissed Dante's cheek. "Good."

"Tell me a bit about what you do." Jacen said.

Dante smiled, "love you."
"I deal in weapon's." Zane said.

"Love you." Jasper said, smiling.
Jacen nodded. "We lost a few of our weapons while...dealing with Raven." he said.

Dante looked up at him before smiling playfully, "Catch me if you can." He said before running.
Zane nodded.

"Wha- hey!" Jasper said as Dante ran, sitting there for a second before getting up and chasing after him.
"There's an office down the hallway where a man named Mikey works, he should have all the information on what we need." Jacen told him.

Dante glanced back with a smile, not seeing the person he was about to bump into.
Zane nodded and headed there.

"Careful!" Jasper said, quickly reaching out to stop Dante.
Mikey was sitting at his desk, staring at his computer screen but not actually doing anything. His mouth had stopped bleeding, but he had a bruise on one side of his face.

Dante barely managed to not run smack into his papa.
Alex helped stedy his son and hugged him, "I see Dante is feeling playful today...."

Jasper smiled and nodded. "Just a little." he laughed.

Alex smiled before hugging and kissing the top of his son's head, he moved out of the way. "I think Dante should get a head start..."
Dante smiled before sticking his tongue out at Jasper and running.
Zane walked in, "Hello?"

"Hey, how's that fair?" Jasper asked, shaking his head and laughing.

Mikey jumped at the unfamiliar voice, used to only Jacen ever coming in.

Alex grinned "Its not.. Slow poke."
"Are you Mikey?" Zane asked.

"I am not slow!" Jasper said before taking off after Dante.

"Yeah I'm-" Mikey said before turning to look at Zane. "Who are you?" he asked, not recognising him at all.

Alex laughed as he watched.
Dante squeaked wgen Jasper finally caught up.
"Zane Danielson." Zane said.

"Got you." Jasper laughed, wrapping his arms around Dante's waist before kissing his cheek.

"Oh, the weapons dealer?" Mikey asked, having been told about him by Jacen earlier, though he hadn't bothered looking up the name like he normally would, not in the mood after Artemis hit him.

Dante giggled softly and smiled.
Zane nodded, "Yeah thats me."

"Done running now?" Jasper asked, pulling Dante close.

Mikey nodded and gave a small smile before getting up and turning on the light in his dark room to find the file Zane needed.

dante smiled and nodded, "Yeah i think so."
zane smiled at Mikey, his eyes never leaving him.

Japser grinned and kissed Dante's cheek again.

Mikey quickly turned his back to Zane when he noticed, thinking he was looking at the bruise on his face.

Dante smiled and relaxed against him.
"are you ok?" Zane asked.

Jasper hugged Dante close and kissed his head.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Mikey asked, trying to sound as if he was.

Dante smiled.
Alex walked back to his and Artemis's room.
"Because you seem upset...." zane said softly.
