"Why?" Lucas asked.

"Because....you should be..." Ted said.

"Well I'm not," Lucas smirked, "Now be a good little bitch and open the door."

"No." Ted said. "I'm not anyone's bitch!"

Lucas grabbed his collar, "You sure about that?"

"Yes." Ted hissed. "I'm not the bitch..." He added, glancing at Cody.

Lucas spat and shoved him against the wall again before tossing him into the door, "Open it. NOW!"

Ted cried out as he was shoved into the wall again, whimpering when he was thrown towards the door, slowly pulling out the key.

"Hurry up," Lucas hissed, kicking Ted in the ribs.

Ted whimpered again, moving to unlock the door faster.

Lucas took Cody by the hand, leading him in the room. He looked around, wrinkling his brow when he didn't see Nolee. "She's...she's not in here..." he looked at Ted, a cold look falling into his eyes, "Where the hell is she DiBiase..."

"Oh sorry...did I waste your time and cause you to get into the room too late?" Ted chuckled. "My friend came and took her somewhere more...secure...." He smirked.

Lucas screamed in anger and launched himself at Ted, a flurry of fists raining down on his face before he felt two of Ted's men drag him off of the spoiled mob bosses son. "You bastard! Don't you dare hurt Cody!"

"Get off me!" Ted yelled, trying to shove Lucas away, smirking as Lucas was restrained. He wiped blood from his lip before standing. "I think you should be more worried about my friend hurting her..."

"Wh...what friend?" Lucas asked angrily.

"You'll sse him eventually..." Ted smirked. "Or maybe not..."

Cody slowly moved closer to Lucas, reaching a hand out to him.

Lucas reached out for Cody, "I'm okay Codes...it'll be okay..."


Nolee sensed she was on the move but couldn't sense who with. The hands weren't that of Ted's, they were much to callused to be a DiBiase's hands. "Who the hell are you?" she snapped.

Cody nodded, grabbing Lucas' arm, moving close.

"Not your friend. That's who." Smirked Ted's right hand man and assassin, Randy Orton.

Lucas pulled Cody close, glaring at Ted.


"I should have guessed," Nolee chuckled. "The stench of Axe body spray, the way you almost slithered instead of walked, the sound of your monotone voice. Good to know your still alive Randy. Thought Barrett killed you a long time ago."

Ted laughed coldly. "Good luck trying to find her..." He said, leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

"Barrett? No. He was going to, but I have a lot of friends in high places..." Orton chuckled.

Lucas held Cody, "I'm sorry...I was stupid...I should have known he was stalling."


"Pity," sneered Nolee. "So what have you come to do? Kill me? Torture me? Because I have to say, I've seen you in action and it's not at all intimidating."

"It's fine..." Cody said, leaning against Lucas.


Randy sighed, annoyed. "Is nobody around here scared of things anymore?"

Lucas nodded, "I won't let him hurt you.."

Nolee laughed, "No. Especailly not of you.:

Cody smiled, standing on his toes to kiss Lucas' cheek.

"People these days..." Randy muttered. "I disappear for a few years and suddenly no one's scared of me..."

Lucas smiled, "Thanks man..."

"You should have stayed gone..."
