A Supernatural Hunt

"Why not?"
"I suppose..." Carmen yawned.
Jasper nodded. "Tha- that explains a lot actually."

"I'm not sure at all." Mason sighed.
Morgan gently carried her to a couch in the room.
Dante nodded as he looked down.

"Useless idiot..." Marco muttered, referring to Austin.
"You didn't need to do that." Carmen told him, though she smiled.
Jasper shrugged his shoulders before running a hand through his short hair.

Mason nodded, "He has powers though..."
"I want too love." Morgan smiled.
Dante looked down nervously.

"He does?" Marco asked. "I've never seen any."
Carmen nodded, slowly relaxing.
"...I need to go outside." Jasper said quietly after a moment.

"He's got sand powers." Mason answered.
Morgan smiled, glad to see her relax.
"O-Oh... Okay." Dante said softly, moving to Jasper could leave.

"Sand?" Marco pulled a face. "Just another way he's annoying then. I hate that stuff."

Carmen looked up at him, reaching up to touch his face.

"Not because of that!" Jasper said quickly. "Hungry..."

"Annoying, but it can be useful." Mason repled.

Morgan leaned his face into her hand.

"Oh!" Dante blushed slightly and nodded.

"How so?" Marco asked.

"Thank you." Carmen said quietly.

Jasper smiled and rolled his eyes at him before heading outside.

"Sand can be used to trap." Mason answered.

"Anything for you my love."

Dante sat where they had been as he waited.

"I suppose so..." Marco replied, still pulling a face over it anyway.

Carmen laughed quietly before reaching her other arm up to pull him closer.

Jasper returned shortly afterwards, wiping his mouth as he came back inside.

Mason chuckled softly at his face.

Morgan smiled happily as he moved closer.

Dante looked up when he entered.

"What?" Marco asked when he heard the chuckle.

Once he was close enough, Carmen wrapped her arms around Morgan's neck.

Seeing Dante, Jasper smiled before going over to him.

"Nothing." Mason answered with a smile.

Morgan smiled and pulled her close.

Dante smiled back at Jasper.

"Sure it wasn't." Marco muttered, crossing his arms.

Carmen gladly curled close to Morgan as she relaxed

"Much better." Jasper said as he sat back down.

Mason leaned over to run his fingers through Marco's hair.

Morgan smiled softly, he was blessed to have his love. "Thank you." He murmured softly.

Dante nodded, moving closer again.

At Mason's touch, Marco quickly relaxed, leaning into the hand.

"...for what?" Carmen asked curiously.

Jasper gave a small smile as he watched.

Mason smiled at that, happy.

"For being my wonderful wife." Morgan said softly. "And our wonderful life."

Dante was glad he hadn't freaked out.

Marco shifted after a moment, moving to rest his head on Mason's shoulder.
"I see." Carmen laughed quietly. "That rhymes you know."
"You alright?" Jasper asked.

Mason watched him carefully.
Morgan laughed softly. "I know, I know."
Dante nodded, "Yeah."

Marco rested against him, staring off at nothing.
"You'd hope so." Carmen smiled.
"Good." Jasper nodded.

Mason looked at his papers.
Morgan kissed the top of her head.
"So... You didn't freak out like others would finding out about me..." Dante said softly, curious.

Marco slowly fell asleep, head still leaning on Mason.
Carmen smiled and relaxed with him.
"No. ...other people freaked out?"

Mason continued to work as he slept.
Morgan kissed the top of her head again.
"Sometimes, sometimes they just start treating my like my rank... No one ever just treats me like me, like you have."

Marco stayed asleep for a while, needing the rest still after dealing with Alistair. After a while, he shifted, slowly starting to wake up.
"Sounds annoying," Jasper said, pulling a face. "Why would they do that?"
