Old Friends

"Just about how much fun we had when we were kids... How you and Will looked out for me..." Connor said with a small smile.

Alex relaxed when he saw her smile.

"We still do look out for you though." Oliver said.

"Is everything okay...?" Mikey asked from the doorway, holding his son in his arms.

"You two do a lot for me." Connor said thoughtfully.

"Yeah but, Aly hurt her knee going down the stairs." Alex answered Mikey with a small smile.

Oliver smiled. "You do a lot too."

"She did? Is...is she alright?" Mikey asked worriedly.

Connor smiled softly at his brother.''

Alex noded, "Yeah she is, she almost got down all the stairs herself."

"Let's go see if Will's free to talk."

"Oh really? Well maybe next time she'll make it." Mikey said softly, chuckling when Aly grinned.
"You think I do it papa?" She asked as she looked up at Alex.

Connor nodded, "Alright."

Alex smiled down at her and nodded, "Yes I do little one, I'm sure you can do it."

Oliver smiled, kissing Connor's head before moving away and letting him go.

"I no fall next time..." Aly said quietly.

Connor smiled before asking, "Where is Will?"

"You won't." Alex said softly.

"I'm not sure," Oliver answered, shrugging. "Maybe in his office?"

Artemis smiled a little as he watched them, moving closer so he could hug them both.

Connor nodded and started for the office.

Alex smiled and leaned against him.

Oliver followed after his brother, keeping an eye out for Will as they walked.

"Do you guys need anything?" Mikey asked.

Connor knocked on the office door.

"No I don't think so, but think you." Alex answered with a smile. "We've got to start on Dante's cake for tomorrow though.

"It's open." Will said from his seat at his desk.

Mikey smiled and nodded. "Okay."
"We do, don't we?" Artemis said. "That might help."

Connor smiled as he walked in the office, "Hey."

"I wonder if he even remembers its tomorrow?"

"Oh hello again." Will smiled.

"I'm not sure..." Artemis frowned.

"You finally starting on the mountain of paperwork?"

"He has been busy, knowing Dante he might of forgotten."

"Yeah..." Will sighed. "It probably helps before I get lost under it all."

"Maybe," Artemis said. "He has a bad habit of worrying...like I do."

Connor smiled, "Careful that you don't get buried in an avalanc."

"He do's take after you too you know." Alex chuckled.

"I'll try not to." Will laughed. "How's your brother doing?" He asked before glancing at Oliver, who stood a bit further back than his brother.

"I know..." Artemis frowned.

"He;s doing good, we talked a bit..."

Alex kissed his cheek, "Arty?"

"You did?" Will asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah?" Artemis said as he looked at him.

"Yeah... I told him..." Connor said softly.

"You okay?" Alex asked worried at the frown.

"About what...?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Artemis smiled.

"The guys and the bugging..." Connor sighed.

Alex smiled, "Good."
