Old Friends

"Do they know either of our young bosses here?" Alistair asked.

"I'm sorry, about when you came to see me when I first got back..." Jacen said quietly.

"I don't know about William." Raven answered.

"Its okay uncle Jacen." Dante said softly, relaxing into the hug.

"I'm not my grandfather, my name is Will." The blonde frowned. "But no, I don't think the Westmores know me."

"Still sorry..." Jacen mumbled.

"We could use both of them." Raven said.

Dante hugged a little tighter.

"They'll need to work out a proper story or they'll be found out..." Alistair said.

Jacen smiled at him before looking over at Frankie.

Raven nodded, "Yes indeed, shouldn't be hard to figure one out though."

Frankie smiled as he watched them.

"We can work on that later, unless there's nothing else that needs discussing..." Will said.

Jacen gave a small smile back before reaching a hand out to him.

Connor walked into the room, he was worried as she stepped into the room.
Peter turned to leave, sharing a glance with Aiden.

Frankie smiled and took his hand.

Alistair shook his head and turned to leave. He went to say something when he passed Connor, but just smirked instead after seeing Oliver following his brother.
Aiden had been watching silently from a corner of the room. When Peter looked at him he gave a small smile, barely noticeable unless a person knew to look for it.

Jacen gently pulled on the hand, leaning against him once he was close enough.

Connor didn't like the man's smirk and glanced at his brother worriedly.
Peter smiled back before saying, "Lets go Aiden."

Frankie hugged him close.
Dante laughed softly, "I'm being squished!" He said before gently pulling out of the hug and letting Frankie to continue hugging his uncle.

Oliver frowned slightly, putting a hand on Connor's back once Alistair was gone.
Aiden nodded, turning to head out of the room.

"Sorry Dante." Jacen chuckled, having almost forgotten he was still hugging Dante with one arm.

Connor moved closer to his brother, like the man would just pop out again.
Peter headed to the car, his mind going through all the info.

Dante smiled brightly, "Its okay."

"Are you alright?" Oliver asked quietly.
"So what do you think of them?" Aiden asked curiously once they were outside.

Jacen gave a small smile, relaxing against Frankie.

Connor nodded slowly, trying to show he wasn't scared, just worried.
"The younger ones I like, it will be easy to... Talk with them, the older ones I wish weren't wirking with them..."

Dante smiled, "I'm going to go see if Jasper is still with the twins."

"Are you sure?"
Aiden nodded. "Why not the older ones?"

"Alright." Jacen said, smiling as Artemis hugged Dante.

"Y-Yeah... Of course."
"Raven I don't trust and the other one feels like he is going to stab in the back..."

Dante smiled and hugged his father tightly.

Oliver gave a small smile. He wasn't entirely convinced he was okay, but decided to leave it.
"Why's that?" Aiden asked. He didn't like the man either, but wanted to see what his boss thought.

Artemis smiled and kissed his head.

Connor relaxed a little when he realized the man was gone finally.
"As Jake would put it, he gives a bad vibe..." Peter answered.

Dante smiled and squeezed one more hug in before heading to the twins room.
Kari smiled when she saw her papa.
Frankie smiled as he looked down at Jacen.

Oliver smiled and moved to sit down where the man had been sitting.
"Hmm...never really a good sign." Aiden frowned.

"Hey." Jasper said when he saw Dante, looking up from where he was sitting on the floor, helping Cole build with Lego.
Artemis sighed quietly, brushing a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry... I should be doing my job properly...but you two need to let us help you..." He said to Jacen and Frankie.
Jacen bit his lip instead of saying anything, hanging his head.

Connor sat down next to him.
Peter nodded, "Yep..." He gave a soft sigh.

Dante smiled and sat on Kari's bed, "What are you guys doing?"
Frankie tightened his arms around Jacen and sighed softly.

"So...what are we going to do?" Will asked quietly.
"Are you going to do what they suggested?"

"Daddy's helping me build." Cole grinned.
"I don't want anyone else getting hurt..." Jacen said quietly.

Connor looked at his brother, "I'm not sure boss.."
Peter nodded. "I need to know..."

"Well daddy is doing a great job." Dante smiled.
"We're here to take care of you and the family.: Frankie said softly.

"I don't know anything about this Westmore family besides what the old guys just said about them." Will sighed. "I'm not going to be able to do anything until we know more."
"Alright then." Aiden nodded.

"Of course I am." Jasper grinned.
"I know, but...it's my fault they're doing it in the first place..."

Connor sighed, "Then lets not do this boss... We don't know that their bad..."
Peter sighed softly, it was hard not knowing.

Dante smiled and leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"No it osn't... Frankie said softly.

Will stayed quiet for a few minutes, thinking about it before speaking slowly. "...maybe I could go to them with Orion...but use it as a way to find out what they're like myself?"
"Let's just go home, okay?"

Jasper smiled and reached an arm up, wrapping it around Dante's neck.
"It is..." Jacen mumbled.
