When will love be through with me?

"O-okay..." Casey said quietly, biting his lip.

"What is it?" Artemis asked, going over to him.

"Your doing great Casey."

"I feel... Like maybe it really is all my fault he's unhappy all the time... "

"I...am?" Casey asked, pulling a face after accidentally looking at his hand, reminding him of what Adam was doing.

Artemis quickly shook his head before hugging Alex close. "No it's not, it's not your fault he's so obssessive."

"Yeah you are Case."

Alex curled close, burying his face in his chest.

Casey gave a small smile, slowly relaxing when he looked away again.

"It's okay..." Artemis said softly, rubbing his back.

Adam smiled before focusing on his work.

Alex relaxed and looked up at him.

Casey closed his eyes, his free hand playing with the end of his shirt.

Artemis smiled and gently kissed his cheek. "I love you." He said quietly.

Adam sighed as he started wrapping up Casey's hand, "Well we're done."

"LOve you too Arty, so much." Alex said with a smile.

"We are...?" Casey asked, opening his eyes, looking relieved.

Artemis wrapped an arm around Alex's waist, carefully pulling him close before kissing him.

Adam smiled and nodded, "Yep, we just have to be careful with your hand now."

Alex kissed back sweetly, hugging him close.

Casey slowly nodded. "Thank you."

"How are you feeling?" Artemis asked afterwards.

"What are friends for my friend." Adam smiled.

"I'm fine right now, just want to be with you."

"Well it's also your job..."

"Alright." Artemis smiled, sitting down with him.

Adam smiled, "Yeah but i'm great at my job."

"I missed you so much Arty.... I was scared i'd be stuck there...." Alex said quietly.

"Never said you weren't." Casey chuckled.

"You aren't though," Artemis said. "You're safe now."

Adam gave a small grin, "Want to stay at my place for a few days, so we can keep track of your hand?"

"Still scared.... He could come back Arty...." Alex whispered.

"I um..." Casey started, trying to think of an excuse before sighing and nodding. "I guess it's probably eaiser..."

"I won't let him. Neither would your family."

Adam smiled, "It won't be that bad, Jason will be happy to see you again."

"I know... Still... Scared." Alex siad softly.

"Oh, really?" Casey asked. "How's he doing?"

"It'll be okay." Artemis said softly.

"He's doing good... I think he's been sneeking out to see someone."

Alex relaexed against him.

"He has?" Casey asked, raising an eyebrow. "Hopefully he isn't getting into trouble..."

"Come lay down." Artemis said, leading him over to the bed.

Adam gave a half sad smile, "Look who his father is... He was born to get in trouble..."

Alex followed half tired, but not wanting to fall asleep and find out ir was all a dream.

"True..." Casey nodded, frowning.

"You alright?" Artemis asked as he sat down with him.

Adam sighed softly, with his brother stuck in a bad life and the man he had been in love with just leaving he only had his son left.

"Scared this is just a really good dream..." Alex admitted.

"Have you asked him about it...?"

"It's not, don't worry." Artemis said, running a hand through Alex's hair.
