When will love be through with me?

Casey glanced up at him, frowning, a worried look on his eyes before he mouthed the words 'I'm sorry'.

Alex sighed sadly before giving a small nod, he closed his eyes wanting his Arty.

Casey bit his lip as he watched before hanging his head, feeling guilty about having helped Austin and the others.

Alex glared at Regal when he opened his eyes, "So why did you help the scumbag?" He asked Regal, sounding angry and scared.

"Because it means I get myself a good assassin as an employee." Regal said, shrugging his shoulders.

Alex rolled his eyes before being grabbed again.

"Come here Lexie..." Austin smirked as he pulled Alex over to him, saying the nickname mockingly.

Alex made a nervously noise as he was pulled close, he closed his eyes staying completly still.

Tucker was working on files when the office door opened.

"Hey..." Jacen said when he saw him, going over to his desk, looking for something.

:Hey boss, Alex back yet?" Tucker asked.

"Not that I know of..." Jacen answered, shaking his head. He picked up the book he'd been looking for off his desk, going over to sit down on one of his couches before looking over at Tucker again. "Um...did you end up talking to him by the way? I mean...to Mikey?"

"Yeah.. FOr a little while but then i got a business call." Tucker amswered.

"Oh...so what did he say...?" Jacen asked.

"He doesn't think that anyone is really his friend... Well minus you, he acted shocked when I said I thought of him as a friend... Tucker said with a soft sigh.

"Oh..." Jacen frowned. "Why would he think something like that?"

"I don't know..." Tucker sighed as he ran a hand through his short hair.

Jacen sighed and shook his head, muttering quietly to himself before looking up at Tucker again. "I guess all we can really do for now is try and show him that we do care..."

Tucker nodded, "I guess so, i hope he can find it to believe us."

Alex quietly pulled out his phone.

"Hopefully..." Jacen nodded before quietly adding "...before he does anything stupid."

Austin was alseep nearby and didn't notice.

Tucker nodded worriedly.

Alex sent a text to Artemis. Arty

Jacen sighed, staying quiet for a few minutes. "I think I might need to call Vincent." He eventually said, frowning. "I told him I could do this without him and told him to go look after his proper family...but I don't think I can, not while worrying about personal things like with Mikey..."

Hearing his phone go off, Artemis quickly reached for his phone where he'd left it on the nightstand by his bed. Alex? Where are you, you've been gone longer than Jacen said you would be...

Tucker tilted his head, "Do you think he would come back?"

Alex glanced back and sent back. Trouble went down Arty

"I hope so..." Jacen said quietly, looking worried.

Trouble...? What sort of trouble? Artemis quickly sent back, frowning.

Tucker nodded, when are you going to call him?

Alex started to type back Aust when his phone was grabbed.

"I don't know..." Jacen said, looking nervous.

"What do you think you're doing?" Austin growled as he took the phone.
