When will love be through with me?

"Yeah..." Jacen sighed, frowning as he pulled his hand away. "Maybe a little warmer..."

"And who's going to be this person?" Regal asked, running his fingers through the blonde's hair, making him make a scared sound.

Alex bit his lip, "What do we do Jacen?"

"Not sure yet boss... Who is your new compainion?"

"I don't know..." Jacen said. "Why don't you check, my hand could just be warm."

"Someone who should come in useful." Regal grinned. "He'd just become a doctor, but he already had a reputation for doing things like hacking into files... So now he's 'missing'."

Alex nodded and put his hand to Artemis's forehead.

Austin grinned, "Useful indeed boss."

Dave came to the door, "Boss Ted sent Grel to come talk to us."

Jacen watched Alex quietly, waiting.

"Exactly why I wanted him." Regal said before looking at Dave. "Give us a few minutes before letting him in."

"he still seems warm but i'm not sure if its warmer or notr." Alex said softly.

Dave nodded and shut the door.

Austin grinned.

"Maybe we should get Adam to check again...?" Jacen said.

"You could use him as this person Alex is meeting..." Regal suggested, glancing down at the blonde.

Alex nodded, "Yes just to make sure."

"He'd be perfect." Austin grinned, "You have a picture i can send Mikey?"

"Can you go and call him then please?" Jacen asked.

Regal nodded, pointing over at his desk.

Alex nodded and went to call Adam.

Austin grinned and took the picture to send to Mikey.

Jacen sighed and laid next to his brother, watching him carefully.

Regal smiled as he watched, pulling the blonde closer, who was frowning at the plan.

Alex returned a little later having made the call.

Austin sent the picture to Miket,

"Is he coming?" Jacen asked when he saw Alex return.

Mikey swore quietly when he saw the picture, recognising the face.

"Yeah he;s on his way now." Alex said as he sat.

Austin waited for a reply.

"Good." Jacen nodded, brushing aside a bit of hair that had fallen in Artemis' face.

Mikey sat there staring at the picture for a few minutes before sending a message back. 'He'll trust that person for sure...'

"He;s going to be ok... Isn;t he?" Alex asked worriedly.

Austin grinned and texted back. 'Great! He then texted curiously. 'How are you so sure?'

"I hope so..." Jacen said quietly. "We'll have to wait and see what Adam says."

'From what I've read of Alex's files they know each other...' Mikey replied.

Alex nodded slowly, his hand still holding Artemis's.
Adam walked in.

Austin chuckled. 'I see.' He looked at his boss, "Mikey sayes the kid is perfect... He apparently knows Lex."

"Hey..." Jacen said when he saw Adam. "...you weren't busy were you?"

"Oh really?" Regal said, raising an eyebrow. "Well why don't you take him to another room and speak to him about it while I speak to Grel?"

"No its my day off." Adam said with a smile as he walked over.

"Okay boss." Austin said with a grin.

"Oh...sorry." Jacen said, frowning. "Didn't mean to take up your day off..."

"Go with him." Regal said to the blonde, gently pushing him to get him up.

"I don't mind, i know how worried you guys are." Adam said.

Austin waited by a side door for the blonde.

Jacen nodded, moving so that Adam could get to Artemis.

"Tell Dave to send Grel in." Regal said to Austin as the blonde went over to him.

Adam took Artemis's tempurtere,

Austin nodded and led the blonde out of the room.

Dave led Grel into the room.

Artemis groaned and shifted slightly, but kept his eyes closed.

The blonde stayed quiet, keeping his head down as he followed Austin.

"Hello Grel." Regal said when he saw him.
