"You're laughing, yet he has 'your' Alex..." Mikey said. "I thought you wanted him back?"

Alex moved back in close carefully.

Artemis smiled and leaned against Alex, closing his eyes.

"Well then why's it so funny that someone else doesn't have what they want?"

Artemis relaxed agains Alex, slowly falling asleep.

"Which isn't funny..." Mikey muttered, rolling his eyes. "Do you even plan on doing anything about it?"

Mikey swallowed nervously. "R-Regal? ...really?"

Alex curled in closer to Artemis.

"Right..." Mikey said just before Austin hung up, dropping his phone onto the couch beside him before putting his head in his hands. As much as he wanted Alex out of the way so he could have Artemis back, he wasn't sure if he was willing to go as far as Austin was.

Artemis smiled in his sleep, curling up a little.

Tucker noticed his his boss watching his brother's room, "Everything ok boss?" He asked quietly.

Austin hung up the phone and looked at his boss, he didn't mind Regal much but he was a little peved that Regal wanted a little of his Lex as price for his help.

Jacen glanced up at Tucker before looking back at the door and nodding, hoping he could hide his emotions like Artemis was able to.

"What did he say?" Regal asked.

"I think he'll set up the job for us."
