When will love be through with me?

Alex hummed quietly, hopeing ti would help Artemis.

Artemis slowly relaxed, eventually falling asleep against Alex.

After a few minutes, Jacen poked his head into the room, a small smile on his face when he saw Artemis asleep.

Alex smiled and played with Artemis's hair as he started to drift off himself.

Austin dialed Mikey's number.

Jacen stayed watching for a few minutes before quietly leaving, heading to his office.

Mikey jumped at the sudden sound, almost dropping his phone as he pulled it out. "Hello...?" He said when he answered it.

Tucker was working on the filing sytem.

"Hey..." Austin said.

Jacen smiled when he saw Tucker before going over to sit at his desk, sighing as he laid his head down on it.

"Austin...?" Mikey said, unsure if it was him. "Is everything alright?"

"Are you ok sir?" Tucker asked as he put his file down.

"I... Just need a friend to talk too...."

"Yeah...I guess so." Jacen sighed.

"Oh, um...about what?" Mikey asked.

"Do you need anything sir?" Tucker asked.

"I just.... Lonely...." Austin nsaid with a sigh.

"No...not really." Jacen mumbled, frowning before sitting up properly.

"Oh...right." Mikey said, his voice making it obvious he knew how that felt.

Tucker nodded before picking up the files again.

"I miss him... A lot..."

Jacen sat there silently for a few minutes before actually picking up a file off his desk to read over it.

"So why don't you do something about it then?" Mikey asked.

Tucker watched from where he worked.

"I need him over here to talk to him...."

Jacen sighed and put down the file after a few minutes, putting his head in his hands.

"I doubt you'd get him over to your place..." Mikey said. "But if it was somewhere different..."

Tucker went over to him, "Boss?"

"Like where? And how?" Austin asked.

Jacen didn't respond and stayed still, his dark hair hiding his face.

"I don't know...but he's probably not going to go anywhere where he'd expect you to be. He probably wouldn't go if he knew it was you he was seeing either..." Mikey said slowly, listening to make sure no one was outside his office listening.

Tucker sighed softly, "You should rest boss."

"Maybe tell him its for a job?"

"I don't need rest." Jacen said sharply, hinting that he didn't want to be told to rest again. "I have things to do."

"Maybe..." Mikey said before going quiet, thinking he'd heard someone.

Tucker nodded, "Yes sir." He said as he started working again.

"What is it Mikey?" Austin asked.

Jacen slowly started reading again, running a hand through his hair.

"Uh...nothing?" Mikey said nervously, still listening carefully. "Just better to make sure no one's around..."

Tucker finsihed his files.

Austin nodded, "Yeah smart idea Mikey."

"Is that all of them?" Jacen asked quietly, trying to distract himself.

"Of course it is," Mikey said. "It's my idea."

"I think so boss."
Lucky peaked into the office, "Boss?"

Austin grinned to himself, "True."

Jacen smiled and nodded before looking up at Lucky. "Yes?"

Mikey slowly got up, making sure his office door was locked before sitting on his couch. "So what was it you wanted to talk about?"

I'm getting ready to make my first rounds boss just wanted to cheek in." Lucky said with a smile.

"I want my Lex with me again..." Austin sadi with a sad tone.
