First Night On The Job

Dante found Jasper and curled up in his lap tiredly.
"Because you feel guilt, if you didn't then you would be a bad person who didn't can." Zane said.

"Oh hey." Jasper said, wrapping his free arm around Dante. "Everything okay?"
Mikey gave a small nod, but didn't look entirely convinced.

'I hope so.... Dad is with papa right now.... I think they'll be ok." Dante murmured tiredly.

Jasper nodded, finishing his drink before putting the glass on a table that was beside the couch. He pulled Dante close once Vincent decided to leave them alone, gently stroking his cheek.

Dabte relaxed against him, lesning into the hand almost like a kitten would.

Jasper smiled and left his hand there, kissing Dante's head.

"I love you." Dante said.

"I love you too." Jasper said, holding Dante close.

Mikey eventually got up off the bed, making the excuse that he was going to shower before shutting himself in the bathroom that was joined to his bedroom; though the sound of the shower was never heard.

Dante dozed off.
Zane frowned and went to check on Mikey.

Jasper sighed softly, stroking Dante's hair as he slept.

Mikey was laying on the bathroom floor with his eyes closed, tears on his face. By one hand, there was a pocket knife that he'd dropped. On the wrist if his other hand was a fresh cut that was bleeding more than the usual ones, his hand laying in a small pool of blood.

Dante murmured quietly.
"Mikey!" Zane yelled before wrapping the wrist up tightly and picking him up before starting to carry him out to the car.

Jasper shifted slightly so Dante would be more comfortable and held him close.

Mikey groaned quietly as Zane lifted him, but didn't move at all.

Dante shifted slightly.
Angel peaked in on Alex and Artemis.
Zane rushed to the hospital, tears in his eyes.

Jasper wrapped his arms a little tighter around Dante.
Artemis was still sleeping, holding Alex as close as possible, his arms wrapped protectively around him.
Mikey was only vaguely aware of where he was and looked confused when he opened his eyes a little.

Angel smiled softly, she hoped everything was ok for them now.
"Your going to be ok Mikey..." Zane said as they arrived.

Thinking he'd heard a noise, Artemis woke up and lifted his head, relaxing when he saw Angel.

Mikey just closed his eyes again.

"I just wanted to check on you two." Angel said softly.
zane carried him inside, making an upset noise when the doctor's took him.

Artemis nodded and gave a small smile.
"Um...What exactly happened?" Casey asked as the other doctors took Mikey.

Angel smiled and left.
"He cut his wrist in the bathroom, he was upset."

Artemis laid his head back down, humming quietly once Angel was gone.

Casey sighed and nodded. "We should be able to save him."

Alex snuggled closer.
Zane bit his lip worriedly and nodded.

Artemis smiled and kissed Alex's cheek before going back to humming.

"Oh, um...you were at the Westmore house yeah?" Casey asked.

Alex opened his eyes slowly.
Zane nodded, "Yeah."

Artemis kept humming quietly, watching him.

"Was there someone named Dante there?" Casey asked curiously. He'd never ended up taking Paul and Brian there because Brian still wasn't feeling well.

Alex curled closer before giving a small smile.
Zane nodded, "Yeah i think so."
