First Night On The Job

"He should be in his office, down the hall." Jacen said, pointing in the direction.

Austin smiled and went back to dragging him inside.

Angel nodded and went to talk to him.
Alex glanced around nervously.

Mikey was still in his office with Zane, not having been to his actual room since Artemis hit him.

Austin locked Alex in a room before going to see Raven.

Angel walked in, "Hello?"
Alex curled up tightly, becoming more like the timid person he had been when he been with Austin.
Raven looked up.

Mikey jumped slightly before looking up at Angel, taking a minute to recognise her in the dark room. "Oh Angel...since when do you come in here?"

"Hey boss," Austin said. "We got Shelley."

"Since we need a favor, there is a boss named Jeremy that we need to know more about." Angel said.
"Good, was it hard?" Raven asked.

Mikey turned on the light, then almost dropped file he'd just picked up. "Jeremy?" he asked, trying not to sound nervous. "Um...do you know what he looked like?"

"Well Artemis was there, so it was at first, until their boy came out looking for them." Austin said.

Angel desribed him for Mikey.
"What did you do with the kid?" Raven asked, almost sounding nervous.

Mikey froze, sitting staring at Angel.

"Gave him to Mason." Austin said. "I doubt the Westmore assassin will come in here like last time, he seemed pretty tired, didn't fight as well as I've heard he can. Besides, he has to go through here and Mason's now."

"Mikey what is it?" Angel asked.
"Don't forget there is the boyfriend..... And the James family too." Raven said.

"He...he's my brother...." Mikey said quietly.

"Mason has a plan for the boyfriend, so it's really just the James' we need to deal with."

"Your brother....? As in brother?" Angel asked in shock.
Raven nodded, "What about our guest?"

"Half brother..." Mikey said quietly, giving a small nod, nervous.

"Well I have an idea on how to make sure Artemis can't hurt you...and Alex is the perfect thing to get it to work." Austin said.

"Oh..... Well this is a strange turn of events...." Angel said softly.
"Tell me." Raven said.

"I didn't know he was even in the area..." Mikey mumbled, looking away.

"Well there's that cop who works for people like you and Mason if you pay him, right?" Austin said. "When Artemis comes here, have the guy arrest him for what he did to you and the other guys that worked here..."

Angel nodded, "I see."
Raven grinned, "I like your plan."

"We've never really got along very well." Mikey told her.

"I thought you might." Austinn said, grinning back.

Angel nodded.
"Get the plan in mosion." Raven ordered before pausing, "What are you going to do with Alex after?"

"...why'd you need to find out who he was?" Mikey asked after a few minutes.

"That depends on if you want him or not..."

"I needed to know about a friend that works for him." Angel said.
Raven grinned as he thought, "I still need a replacement for Frankie, but you still need a reward...." Raven got an evil grin, "Lets let Alex decide this little question."

"Oh." Mikey said, nodding.

Austin smirked and nodded. "Okay."

Raven grinned, "Go get to work."
Dante panted as his training stopped.

Austin grinned and left to room to go to Alex.

Brian gave a small smile and nodded, the only way he ever really showed that he thought people did good.

Alex was curled up on the bed in the room.
Dante gave a small smile back but something felt off.

Austin quietly went into the room, standing by the bed, watching Alex.

"Are you alright?" Brian asked.
