The Time For New Blood

"I don't know, he's in his room," Vincent said. "He might be."

Nolee nodded, "May I come in? I need a place to crash for the night..."

"I guess so," Vincent said, stepping aside. "I doubt Jacen would mind."

"His parents raised a good man," Nolee softly smiled.

"Hardly." Vincent said, rolling his eyes. "I'd be complimenting the person their parents hired to do that..."

"You?" Nolee guessed.

"Jacen's room is this way." Vincent said instead of answering, turning to lead Nolee to the room after closing the door.

"If it was you...you did a good job with raising the two of them," nodded Nolee.

Vincent didn't respond, but smiled while his back was to Nolee. He paused when they entered the living room, sighing and shaking his head. "You know you do have perfectly good bedrooms..." He said.

Artemis jumped and quickly sat up on the couch, blushing when he realised Nolee was there. He had been leaning over Mikey, the two having been making out and Artemis was shirtless, Mikey turning bright red as he tried to do his own shirt back up.

Nolee blushed as she realized what she and Vincent had walked in on. She giggled and turned to Vincent, "On second thought...I'll take a bedroom..."

"I...um...sorry..." Artemis mumbled, hanging his head so that his hair covered his face. Mikey stayed quiet, putting his hands over his face.

"Right." Vincent said, walking out of the room after gesturing for Nolee to follow.

Nolee smiled and left with him, "They are cute together."

"It's about time one of them said something..." Vincent said,chuckling quietly. "Wouldn't know anything about that, would you?"

"Mikey told me earlier and I told him to go for it," Nolee shrugged.

"Maybe now he'll stop his sulking then." Vincent said, stopping outside a room. "This is one of the spare rooms, if you really want to see him, Jacen's room is there." He said, pointing at a door down the hallway.

Nolee reached a hand out for the door before hesitating, "Did...did he mention me after I left?"

"He went straight to his room, said he wanted to lie down after drinking..." Vincent shrugged.

Nolee sighed and opened the door, "Of course he did..."

"He may have mentioned you once or twice though while he mumbled as he walked to his room..." Vincent said before walking away.

Nolee smiled a bit, her heart jumping at the mere thought. She walked into the room and curled up on the bed, falling into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Artemis was up early making breakfast, Vincent sitting at the dining table reading a newspaper.

Nolee made sure her hair was fixed and her makeup made her look lady like before walking downstairs, "Good morning boys."


Teegan was up at his house and was confounded when he walked into the kitchen to see Sheamus sitting there. "What the bloody hell are you doing here?"

"Morning." Vincent said, rolling his eyes when Artemis quickly turned away, a shy smile on his face.

"Visiting obviously." Sheamus said, not even bothering to look up at Teegan.

"Morning Artie," Nolee smiled as she sat down at the table. "Thanks again for letting me stay here for a night. I'll be out of your hair by lunch."

Teegan glared at him, "You're not welcome here."

"It's fine, we have more than enough room." Vincent said.

"Not to you no..." Sheamus said.
