Sheamus nodded, running a hand through his haor, frowning as well.

Nolee looked at him, knowing he was wrong. Then it hit her and she drew her hand back, "It was my father, wasn't it? Harris Lacroix attacked your people...that's why you were so proud you beat us..."

Sheamus hesitated, opening his mouth to deny it, then changed his mind, slowly nodding instead. "Yes..." He said quietly. "It was him..."

Nolee teared up, hanging her head, "He was always a monster...I know not what happened to him but he was a monster." she looked at him before asking again, "How can you desire me? Knowing I come from that."

Sheamus sat quietly for a few minutes, his head bowed, frowning. He sighed before looking up at Nolee, a small smile on his face.
"Because," He said. "Like you said about me, I can see kindness in you. I know yeh aren't like your father..."

Nolee smiled and leaned into the kiss, only breaking it to rest her forehead against his.

Sheamus grinned, raising his free hand to gently stroke Nolee's cheek. "I love you." He said quietly, looking slightly embarrassed.

Sheamus smiled and gently kissed Nolee again before wrapping his arms around her, pulling her close.

Sheamus held her tightly, leaning his head on hers. After a minute or so, he started absent mindely singing in Irish quietly.

Sheamus smiled at Nolee, looking around to make sure the room was empty besides them before singing again, louder this time.
