Carter got up and left the room.

Nolee smiled, leading him to the spacious courtyard where a large marble fountain of the Roman god Mars stood with a sword raised, as if ready for battle. She grabbed her twin swords, virtus (Latin for Valor) and vis (latin for Power).

Jay slepted quietly.
Adam looked at the swords.

Nolee smiled, "Beautiful aren't they? When an Amazonian is of age, her mother and the woman who was chosen to be her patron present her with swords. A dear friend of my mothers, a woman named Lita gave me this sword," she said raising Virtus, "and my mother gave me this." she said raising the other.

"Thank you," Nolee smiled. She gestured to the rack of swords nearby, "Go find one you like. Each of them are handcrafted."

Adam picked up two swords. "I don't know i have never fought you before so such statment is at best a guess...."

Nolee smiled and swung her swords in an intricate pattern at her side with a smirk on her face, obviously challanging him.

Adam watched how she moved before slowly moving to her right side.

Nolee turned to him, jumping over the slash of his sword before ducking to the ground and attempting to kick his feet out from under him.

Adam jumped and rolled over, kicking the foot that had tried to trip him.

Adam held one sword to her thoat and stood on one of her swords, while still keeping his other sword ready. One ear peaked out from under his hair.

Nolee looked up at him, both shocked about how he beat her and the ears sticking out from under his hair, "Wh...what are you?"

Adam let out a sigh before jumping back and letting both of his ears and tail show, "Frankly me and my brother aren't sure.... We were just called mix breeds...."

"Mama said our father was just like me and my brother. But she never knew where he was from and they village climbed he must of been a servent of the gods. I remember a little of my father he had to leave when Jay was just born." Adam said.
