Adam raised a brow, "Just because one is stronger does not make them better.... I have know many female warriors who have been as strong and had the best training but still have fallen..... No one is the best, it is all a matter of what happens and timing."

Nolee chuckled, "Perhaps you misheard me. She is an Amazonian. From what I hear tell, she learned at a young age to destroy any man who crossed her path. Both with words and weapons."

Jay nodded yes shyly.
"No i heard you but what i said still hold true..... You may be the best in the world and have all the training but any small thing could change that.... Especially things you don't see coming." Adam said.

Jay nodded before asking, "Sir.... What will be my jobs as your slave?"

"Oh nothing really. Maybe helping me clean my room when I need help or going with me to the market to pick up things I need. I don't believe in slavery."

"Will A-Addy be ok?" Jay asked softly.
"Who would i tell? I know no one and i do not trust anyone." Adam said.

Carter hesitated. Truth was he didn't know if Adam would be okay. But instead of telling the truth, he lied, "He'll be fine."

Nolee nodded, "You won't recognize me as the Amazonian."

Jay nodded slowly, "I'm glad Addy is all i have."
Adam nodded, he knew how to keep secrets after all he kepted his and his brothers for years.

Nolee smiled, dressed in her armor, "You there, Adam, come with me. I'll show you to the barracks."

Nolee smiled, "You will eat, sleep, and train with the gladiators. If you win your bout you will be given a bit of gold and your choice of female or male...um...company.."

Jay slepted quietly, his softly puppy ears that he had been carefully hidden all day came out from under his hair.
Adam shook his head no. "I am fine."

Nolee smiled, "When you and the others get up from the barracks, you will be led to breakfast and then to the courtyard."
