A Supernatural Hunt

"I'm not losing you." Leo growled back.
Peter growled.
Alex tried to relax.
Dante looked at Artemis, "You can heal right?"

"You'd probably lose me anyway if their boss finds out I helped you..." Joseph sighed.
"Still following the killer around huh?" Jasper asked, just to annoy him.
"What?" Artemis said before realising what Dante asked and nodded. "Oh, yes..."

Leo glared through tear filled eyes, "No..."
Peter growled and lunged at him.
Dante nodded and pulled him over to Joseph, "Help me heal him."

"I forgot to give you something..." Joseph said quietly, pulling a small box out of his pocket.
Jasper quickly moved out of the way before trying to hit the demon.
"I um...I guess I could."

"W-What?" Leo asked softly.
Frankie tackled Marco down.
Dante nodded.

"Here." Joseph said, pushing the box into Leo's hand.
Marco growled, using his shadow magic to try and push Frankie away.
Artemis moved towards them, pausing to watch for a moment.

Leo bit his lip hard as he realized what it was and slowly opened it, hugging it tight against his chest as he began to tear up.
Frankie growled and tried to push through it.
Alex poked his head out.

"I-I'm sorry..." Joseph mumbled, slowly sitting, back still against the wall.
"Get off!" Marco snapped.
Artemis glanced down at him.

"Don't be, I love you." Leo said softly.
Frankie growled, "No!"
Alex's ears were down.

"I love you too." Joseph said, smiling weakly.
Marco hissed, gathering more shadows to try push him away.
"What is it?" Artemis asked.

"We're going to heal you." Leo murmured softly.
Frankie held his ground.
Dante was still working.

Joseph shrugged, reaching a hand up to him.
Marco tried to kick him away.
"Oh, right!" Artemis said, remembering Joseph and going over to help.

Leo took his hand.
Frankie hissed softly.
Alex watched from the pocket.

Joseph smiled before gently kissing his hand.
Marco glared at him, struggling to use his full power after using it so much earlier while he'd been angry.
Artemis held a hand out over Joseph, taking a breath to focus his powers before trying to heal him.

Leo squeezed his hand tightly.
Frankie went for a knockout blow.
Dante added some power.

Joseph gave a small smile.
Not expecting it, Marco wasn't able to stop it, his darkness disappearing as he was knocked out.
"Come on..." Artemis muttered to himself, trying to get it to work.

Leo tried to smile for him.
Frankie grinned before going back to the others.
Dante tried more power.

"Leo..." Joseph sighed, trying his best to squeeze Leo's hand back.
Jacen smiled when Frankie came back to them and put a hand on his arm.
Artemis frowned and glanced up at Dante.

Leo held his hand close.
Frankie gently moved closer to Jacen.
Dante forced his hands to let out a healing glow.

"I love you." Joseph whispered.
"You alright?" Jacen asked.
"Is it working?" Artemis asked him quietly.

"I love you too." Leo whispered back.
Frankie nodded, "Yeah."
"I think so..." Dante said softly.

"I know." Joseph replied, closing his eyes.
"Good."
Artemis nodded and kept trying to heal the demon.

Leo hugged Joseph's hand close.
Frankie relaxed a little.
Dante focused as it started to work.

Joseph leaned against the wall more.
Jacen gently patted his arm.
Artemis looked back at Joseph, focusing his magic more.

Leo watched him nervously.
Alex was still in Artemis's pocket.
Dante started to look tired as he continued.
