A Supernatural Hunt

"Is something wrong?" Joseph asked.

"What do we do?" Jacen asked Frankie, looking up at him with a pout. Dealing with his brother's emotions as well as his own made it hard for the angel to deal with others'.

Marco paused outside Alistair's room, hesitating for a moment before slipping inside.

"Ready to go rest?" Dominic asked.

"No, just thinking." Leo said with a small smile.

Frankie carefully pulled the kitsune into a hug.

Peter slowly followed him.

Jayden nodded with shy yawn.

"About what?" Joseph asked, going over to him.

Jacen gave a small smile, watching.

"What are you doing in here?!" Alistair hissed as the room went dark.

Dominic looked at his parents with a small smile before leading him out of the room.

"Oh just everything." Leo answered with a small sigh.

Alex slowly relaxed, looking a mixture of sad, uplifted and tired.

"We are here for our own reasons." Peter answered.

Jayden shyly followed, holding back a yawn.

"What do you mean?" Joseph asked, sitting on one of the chairs.

Jacen shifted slightly, reaching a hand up to play with his dark hair, much like Artemis had been doing with his own.

"Get out of my room!" Alistair said before being hit by Marco, the older demon unable to see him in the unnatural darkness.

Dominic glanced back at him before pausing, realising Morgan was following. "...dad?"

"Just worried... Alex is all by himself there and then there is my pack is supposed to be returning to the area..."

Frankie smiled softly at him.

Peter smirked as he watched.

"Just making sure you two get settled in, your mother was so worry... When you left yo look for your brother and didn't return..."

"Will your pack make much difference?"

Jacen looked up at him for a moment before shyly looking away again.

There were sounds of Alistair trying to fight off Marco for a moment before it went quiet, only broken after a few seconds by the sound of Marco screaming in pain.

Dominic frowned and hung his head. "I'm sorry."

"They could want me to come back...."

Frankie smiled softly before looking away as well.

Peter growled and hit at Alistair with his lightning attack.

"Its alright, we were just worried about the both of you... Your mother is still worried because Dante didn't return with Adric..."

"But you're busy." Joseph muttered, frowning.

After a moment, Jacen laid back down and curled up, still tired.

Marco's darkness disappeared, showing the shadow demon on his knees, thanks to Alistair's powers.
The older demon hissed as Peter's lightning hit his shoulder, causing him to stop using his power on Marco.

Dominic quickly lifted his head, looking worried. "What? He- he saw Dante? Why didn't he bring him back?"

Leo sighed, "I've been gone so long I don't feel like their my pack anymore..."

Alex shifted and went over to him so he'd be able to sit with the angel.

Peter threw another lightning at Alistair to protect his friend.

"He was with some other creatures... Their trying to save there friend... A kitsune... " Morgan said softly.

"I'm sorry..." Joseph frowned.

Jacen lifted his head a little to look at him. "What is it?"

"Stop that!" Alistair snapped, glaring at Peter before raising a hand to use his power on him instead.

"A what?" Dominic asked with a confused look. "But they're-"

"Its okay." Leo said with a sigh.

Alex curled against him, offering warmth.

"Make me." Peter growled as he threw another.

"There is one still alive." Morgan said softly.

"How so? You left your pack for me..."

"Thank you." Jacen said softly, burying his face against his fur.

Alistair growled, barely dodging it and used his powers to try make Peter hurt like he'd done to Marco.

Dominic slowly nodded, showing he understood. "As long as he's okay..."

"Because I have you." Leo answered softly, "Plus all my friends."

Dante rested his head on Jasper's chest as he slept.

Alex tail moved slightly before he rested his head on his paws.

Peter screamed in pain, but he managed to stay on his feet. It was a little known secret just who was Peter's father, but those that knew did know that Peter had went through worse pain then most had ever felt before finally leaving and joining with Mason.

Morgan nodded, "Adric said he looked fine, but the demon's went after him first..."

"But they're your family aren't they?" Joseph asked.

Jasper was trying his best to sleep, knowing they needed as much rest as possible.

"Peter!" Marco growled when he heard the scream, darkness forming around the demon before he got to his feet. He charged at Alistair, tackling against the wall to stop the older demon's attack.

Dominic made an upset sound, brushing a hand through his hair. "He'd still be here, safe, if it wasn't for that treaty."

"Yeah... But I love you." Leo answered.

Dante curled in close as he slept.

Peter panted softly, watching as he attacked.

Morgan sighed softly, "I... Know... But it was Elves idea..."

Joseph smiled and leaned close, kissing his cheek. "I love you too."

Jasper wrapped an arm around him, smiling sleepily.

"How dare you!" Marco snapped at Alistair, attacking him with his fists instead of his powers.

"That doesn't mean you have to agree to it." Dominic muttered, turning to start walking with Jayden again.

Leo smiled and kissed his cheek back.

Peter watched in him attack in awe.

"We're going to see if the elves will give up that part of the treaty Dom..." Morgan said to him.

"Did you want to rest?" Joseph asked.

Marco made an irritated sound as Alistair tried using his power on him again. After a moment though, Marco created a dagger again, quickly stopping Alistair.

Dominic paused and glanced back over his shoulder. "You are?"

Leo nodded, "Yeah, I should."

Peter watched and slowly stepped forward.

Morgan nodded, "Yes, your mother and I don't like the idea Dom and we want your brother happy."

Joseph nodded and moved closer to hug him.

By the time Marco decided he was finished, his hands and shirt were covered in red, darkness around him.

"Really...?"

Leo smiled and relaxed into Joseph's hug.

"Marco... What... Happened?" Peter asked his friend.

"Yes really Dom, we love you and your brother. All we want is for you to be safe and happy."

Joseph hugged him close before moving so Leo could lie down on the couch.

Marco slowly stood up, his darkness disappearing as he turned to look at Peter. "I did say I was going to kill him." He smirked.

Dominic nodded, ducking his head so his hair fell in his face.

Leo smiled softly and curled close.

Peter nodded as he looked at the remains, "Well you sure did it."

Morgan hugged him close.

Joseph laid close to him, kissing his head.

Marco slowly looked back at Alistair, frowning a little. "I guess I did..."

"Thank you." Dominic said, burying his face against his father's chest.
