A Supernatural Hunt

"I'll be back later. Maybe." Marco sighed before teleporting away. He didn't go to Mason this time, instead locking himself in his room.

Austin pulled a face as he watched before leaving and locking the door again.

Peter sighed and went to clean up.

Alex poked one of the plates with his toe, as it he thought it would come to life.

Marco sat down on his bed and let out a sigh, putting his head in his hands as he thought about what had just happened.


Jacen shifted in his sleep, mumbling quietly.

When seeing that the food was really just food, Alex picked up a plate and started eating.

Morgan knocked on his son's door.

"What's that...?" Jacen asked sleepily soon after, the smell of it waking him up.

Dominic didn't answer, he was still asleep in Jayden's room, curled up against the shapeshifter.

"I think this is what people that can't cook call food..." Alex joked.

Morgan decided to check Jayden's room and walked in.

Jacen pulled a face. "Oh. Sounds great." He said sarcastically.

Dominic was snoring quietly, hair in his face.

Alex pouted, "This is just yuck..."

Morgan gently shook his son awake.

"Ugh." Jacen groaned, slowly sitting up. Smelling the food had made him realise he was hungry.

Dominic jumped when he felt something touch him, his power responding automatically, causing tree roots to wrap around one of Morgan's legs.

Alex sighed, he continued to eat because he was hungry.

"Dominic!" Morgan said softly.

"...how can you eat that?" Jacen asked.

Dominic sat up when he heard him. "Dad! I-I'm sorry!" He said, quickly stopping his powers.

"Because I need the energy...." Alex answered with a pout.

"Its okay." Morgan replied, "I just needed to tell you that I can't go down with you right away to visit your brother, demons damaged a little of the wall and I need to over see it. Will you tell your brother I'll be there when it's finished?"

"Oh, right." Jacen nodded.

"I didn't mean to..." Dominic mumbled before frowning. "You can't go? But- I don't know where it is."

Alex finally had to push the food away.

"I'll get you started there, don't worry." Morgan gently gave his son a half hug.

"You'd think they'd at least get a proper cook..." Jacen mumbled.

"Oh...okay." Dominic sighed.

"You'd think so..." Alex continued to pout.

Morgan kissed the top of his head, "Sorry Dom."

Jacen sighed and leaned back against the wall.

Dominic pouted before looking away.

Alex sighed, "I don't like it here."

Morgan sighed, "Are you ready to go?"

Jacen shook his head. "Me either."

"Hold on." Dominic said, quickly writing a note to tell Jayden he'd be back later before turning back to Morgan. "Okay."

Alex sighed sadly, "I miss everyone..."

Morgan nodded and carefully set his eldest down to where Dante was.
Dante was still curled close to the vampire, his head on his chest.

Jacen sighed and nodded. "I miss my brother..."

When Dominic appeared where Morgan had sent him, the fae gasped and quickly put a hand to his mouth when he realised Dante was with someone.
Hearing the noise, Jasper suddenly got up and reached out to grab the fae by his shirt. "Who are you?!" He growled.

Alex bit his lip when he thought about Artemis.

Dante quickly sat up before blushing brightly when he saw his brother. "D-Dominic!"

Jacen sighed and hugged his knees to his chest. "Sorry."

"Dante! Make him let me go!" Dominic cried out, panicking as he struggled to get away from the vampire.

"Its okay.." Alex said softly, looking at his mark.

Dante was still blushing as he gently tugged on Jasper's arm. "Jasper please, he's my big brother...."

"...you really like him?" Jacen asked softly.

"What? Oh! I'm sorry!" Jasper said in response, letting go of Dominic.
The fae rolled his eyes and straightened his shirt afterwards, muttering angrily in the fae language.
