A Supernatural Hunt

Dante nodded slowly, though he had his doubts he would have the nerve to stand up to the fae court.

Morgan frowned as he watched Adric return without either of his sons, he turned to his wife worriedly. "Neither Dominic or Dante...."

Frankie smiled and touched his cheek again.

"S-Stay in here... Its the one place he can't enter..." Jayden said softly as he exited the room slowly, hoping to distract him.

"We'll sort it out when we have Alex back."

Carmen turned when she heard Adric come back, looking hopeful. When Morgan spoke though, she had tears in her eyes. "Where are they?"

Jacen gave a small smile, shyly leaning into the touch.

"Wait, what're you-?" Dominic tried to ask, frowning.

Dante nodded slowly, trying to ignore the flip flop in his stomach.

"I don't know..." Morgan said softly, hugging her close.
Adric walked over, "Hello..."

Frankie smiled softly, rubbing his cheek softly.

Jayden looked nervously at Alistair, "H-Hello..."

"You should get some rest or whatever," Jasper said. "We all need to be ready when we go get Alex."

Carmen sighed and leaned against Morgan, turning her head to look at Adric. "Where are my boys?"

Jacen stepped a little closer, smiling shyly.

"What are you doing?" Alistair asked, narrowing his eyes.

Dante nodded shyly as he ran a hand through his hair.

Adric sighed, "I... Haven't found Dominic milady... But I found where your youngest is."

Frankie smiled, slowly wrapping an arm around him.

"N-Nothing..." Jayden answered.

"Joseph can decide when we go, since he's the one who can get us there." Jasper said before turning and walking off.

"Dante? He- Is he okay?"

Jacen made a nervous sound, not sure what he was doing.

"Where's the fae?" Alistair asked.

Dante sighed and sat down, burying his face in a pillow.
Leo smiled softly, "I've never seen a kid with a bigger crush..."

Morgan listened for news of Dante eagerly.
"He is quite well milady... He... Had been attacked by the demons, but he was saved... By a kitsune and vampire... He seems very unhappy with the... Arranged marriage..."

Frankie just gave a soft hug to the angel.

"He... He's busy..." Jayden lied.

"Hmm. Your vampire friend doesn't seem to get it though." Joseph said.

"What do you mean he was attacked?" Carmen asked worriedly. "Why?"

Jacen smiled shyly and slowly hugged him back with one arm.

"Doing what?"

"Shame too... I think he'd be good for Jasper... He needs someone other then Alex to ground him to earth." Leo sighed softly.

"We don't know..."
"What do you mean by a vampire and kitsune saved him?" Morgan asked with a frown.

Frankie smiled before letting go a few moments later.

"Well... He's..." Jayden realized he didn't have a good plan.

"What do you mean?" Joseph asked, not really knowing the others as well as Leo.

"I thought there were no kitsune..." Carmen said quietly.

Jacen stood there watching him before shyly moving away.

"He's what?" Alistair asked, sounding irritated.

"Jasper... Has been through some problems... And basically for a long time Alex was the only reason Jasper didn't go into the sun..."

"There is one... He survived the demons some how..."

Frankie slowly sat down, feeling weaker from not feeding.

"He's resting..." Jayden finished lamely.

"The sun? But wouldn't that...?"
Artemis frowned as he listened to them, sitting down beside Dante.

Carmen slowly nodded. "So Dante at least is safe. But what about Dominic?"

"Frankie?" Jacen said when he noticed, frowning.

Alistair rolled his eyes. "Still expecting everyone to let him do as he wants eh? Spoiled fae prince."

Leo nodded, "Yeah... Finding Alex though... It gave him someone to protect and their such close friends... This has to be upset for him..."
Dante slowly looked up, "Hey..."

"We found nothing in the woods... We know he went looking for his brother though milady."

"I'm fine..." Frankie murmured softly.

"Fae prince?" Jayden asked softly.

"Hmm. I guess so."
"Hey." Artemis said with a small smile.

"But we had people looking for Dante already." Carmen sighed.

Jacen crossed his arms. "You don't look it."

"He never told you, did he?" Alistair smirked.

"I just there was a way to help Dante out..."
Dante returned his small smile, "You okay?"

"Yes, but he is protective of his brother love..." Morgan added softly.
"Milady... Will we still be able to work on the treaty if the your youngest will not have the marriage?"

"I'm just... Tired..." Frankie started to admit.

"Told me what?" Jayden asked softly.

"How would you do that?" Joseph asked.
Artemis nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine, just worried about everyone else..."

"I know, I know." Carmen sighed before looking at Adric. "I'm not sure."

"Because you're hungry." Jacen guessed, pouting.

"Your friend is one of the sons of the fae king and queen." Alistair said with a grin. "I did some research on him."

"I don't know..." Leo sighed, "Jasper might laugh at the boy if he outright tells him..."
Dante nodded slowly, "Yeah..." He sighed softly before looking at the angel, "Artemis... I... haven't told the whole truth of who I am..."

Morgan frowned, "Why does the treaty have to have our son get married to one of the elves?"

Frankie sighed and nodded, "Yeah..."
Alex held out his arm, "You can feed from me, my friend Jasper has before."

"The fae king and queen..." Jayden said in awe.

Joseph frowned and rolled his eyes at that.
"What do you mean?" Artemis asked, looking confused.

Carmen slowly shook her head. "I don't know, it was the Elves' suggestion."

"Does it hurt?" Jacen asked Alex curiously.

Alistair pulled a face. "Yes. Annoying bunch they are."

"Maybe we can think of something." Leo said.
"Well I told you guys that my father was a knight... Well he was... Before he married my mother... The queen of the Fae's..."

"Its the only thing I don't like about this..." Morgan sighed.

"Just the bite part, it doesn't hurt much or at all after that." Alex smiled.

"W-Why did you grab a fae prince?"

"You have an idea?" Joseph asked.
"Wait, what!?" Artemis said, looking shocked. "You- you're...?"

Carmen sighed and sat down on her throne. "What do we do then?"

Jacen nodded, changing back to his human form before brushing a hand through his dark hair.

"What better way is there to find out about the fae?" Alistair asked with an evil grin. "Now I know his brother is able to change form, like the power I gave you."

"No... Not yet, I'll think of something."
"Please... Don't say it... I don't want the others too know... I like being normal here..." Dante said softly as he glanced around.

"I don't know love..." Morgan sighed, "I would rather not have to use our youngest for a treaty... But it's important..."

Frankie carefully fed from the kitsune, looking better as he did.

"Your... Going after the brother for his powers?" Jayden asked with a nervous voice.

Joseph nodded. "Alright."
"Of course not." Artemis said with a small smile. "If you want the others to know, then it's something for you to tell them."

"Maybe we should ask Dante if he has any ideas when he comes back?"

Jacen sat watching from on the bed, not liking that he wasn't able to help.

"Well I had to get your powers from somewhere, didn't I?" Alistair replied. "I'll be using your friend's power too once I find out what they are. Assuming he has any of course."

"Will you help me think?" Leo asked.
"Thank you so much." Dante smiled softly.

Morgan nodded, "I think we should."

Frankie pulled back and wiped his mouth, "Thank you."

"O-Oh... What will you do to the brothers...?" He asked quietly.

"I'm not really good with that kind of thing..."
"It's fine." Artemis smiled.

Carmen nodded and looked back at Adric. "Was that all?"

Jacen smiled a little, resting his chin on his knees.

Alistair laughed, the sound cold. "How do you think I get powers off people?"

Leo nodded.
Dante slowly relaxed, "I hope my parents are okay."

Adric nodded, "Yes my queen."

Alex relaxed against the wall, "I'm tired."

Jayden shook at that, "N-No..."
