Warfare of The Heart

"That I loved you...that I saved you from a horrid life," Wade softly said.

"I already told him you saved me..." Justin said. "But he still hates you..."

"I'll tell him," shrugged Wade.

"What if he doesn't...?" Justin said, trailing off as he worried.

"Then you have to choose," Wade softly said.

Justin shook his head, looking upset. "I...I can't..."

"You'll have to if he doesn't want to share. I understand if you choose him," Wade softly smiled.

"But...but I love you too..." Justin said sadly, staring up at Wade.

Wade nodded, "I know love, I know."

Justin rolled back onto his stomach, going quiet as he buried his face in the pillow.

Wade hung his head, "I'll...I'll go get Heath..."

Justin nodded, not talking, knowing it would be obvious he was upset if he did.

Wade kneeled in front of Justin, "Don't be upset."

"But..." Justin said, slowly looking at Wade, tears in his eyes. "I don't want to lose you..." He whispered.

"I will always be there for you," Wade promised, "No matter what I will be there for you."

Justin nodded slowly and gave a smile smile, though he was still upset.

"But we can't always have everything we want. Sometimes we have to choose," Wade replied softly.

"I can't..." Justin mumbled, sniffing.

"You can't or you won't?" asked Wade.

"Both..." Justin said, hiding his face again.

Wade nodded, "Then tell him that."

Justin nodded, mumbling something in Afrikaans.

"What was that?" Wade asked.

"Nothing..." Justin said, laughing quietly.

"It was something or you wouldn't have said it in your native tongue," smirked Wade.
