I'm fine if I can fool myself tonight

Artemis pouted and carefully got up, quietly coming up behind Alex, wrapping his arms around his waist.
"Zane...?" Mikey said quietly when he saw him, frowning as he watched him pace.

Alex leaned back against Artemis, right before his body gave out and he couldn't stand anymore.
Zane went over to Mikey.

Artemis made an upset sound and carefully lifted Alex, carrying him to their bedroom. He laid Alex on the bed and wrapped his arms back around his waist, holding him close.
"Are you alright?" Mikey asked, gently putting a hand on Zane's cheek.

Alex curled as close as he could as he closed his eyes.
"Yeah, just worried....." Zane said softly touching his hand.

"Love you Lexie." Artemis said softly, kissing Alex's head.
Mikey nodded, giving a small smile before standing on his toes to kiss Zane. "Are...are you staying tonight?" he asked almost shyly.

"Love you too Arty." A;ex replied, his eyes slowly closing.
Zane nodded, kissing back. "Yeah i'm staying."

Artemis held Alex close, rubbing his back as he closed his eyes as well.
Mikey smiled and wrapped his arms around Zane's neck, blushing a little as he moved closer, kissing him again.

Jasper headed back outside, getting on his motorbike to head off to rescue Dante and the twins. He'd seen the file on Mikey's laptop, so he knew where he was headed.

Alex held on tightly to Artemis as he fell asleep.
Zane smiled as he kissed back.

Dante was still curled up tight, hating being trapped in the room.

Mikey smiled into the kiss, shyly pressing against Zane even though they were in the living room.

Jasper sighed, muttering to himself as he got off his bike, having decided to stop off at Angel's on the way, trying not to look nervous as he knocked on the door.

Zane wrapped his arms tighter around him.

Angel opened the door.

"I love you..." Mikey said, pressing closer, a little less shy.

"Uh...hi...." Jasper said, still asnervous as he always had been while speaking to her.

"I love you too." Zane whispered softly.

"Jasper.... Why are you here?" Angel asked, a bag in her hand.

Mikey grinned, wrapping his arms tight around Zane's neck, kissing him again.

"Because I was on my way to do something...and I figured it would be ...better if Dom and Jayden stayed here a little longer." Jasper said, avoiding saying 'safer'.

Zane smiled before picking up Mikey.

Angel nodded slowly, "I will make sure they stay in...... Be careful Jasper....."

Mikey made a surprised sound before leaning close.

Jasper nodded and turned to leave before stopping and turning back to look at her, sighing. "They took Dante and the twins..." He said quietly.

Zane smiled softly.

Angel bit her lip, "Be really careful......"

Mikey blushed and ran a hand through Zane's hair, gently kissing him.

Jasper nodded, putting a hand to his injured shoulder without really realising.

Zane pulled away and led Mikey upstairs.

Angel watched as he left before realzing he had been holding his shoulder.

Mikey followed Zane, holding onto his hand tightly.

Jasper got onto his bike, pulling a face as he started it, though he tried to ignore the pain; too busy worrying about Dante and their twins.

Alex curled closer to Artemis as he slepted.

Dante was rocking back and forth slowly.

Artemis kept his arms wrapped around Alex's waist, holding him close.

Jasper got off his bike not far from the place, quietly sneaking into the house.

Alex snuggled in closer.

Dante got up to pace.

"Lexie..." Artemis mumbled, burying his face against Alex's neck.

Jasper searched around the place, quickly kneeling to pick the lock on the door when he found the right room, wearing a hood to hide his face.

Alex slowly opened his eyes.

Dante stopped when he heard someone mess with the door.

Artemis kept his face buried against Alex's neck, hugging him tighter.

Jasper unlocked the door and opened it, taking off his hood as he stepped into the room. "Dante..."
Mason swore loudly when he saw Jasper on one of the monitors from his security cameras and sent a message to his men to go grab the assassin, getting up to head down there himself. "Not him again..." He muttered angrily as he walked.
