Ted slamed his hand down on his desk, "Leave!"

Dante smiled as he laid there, curled close.

Jacob smiled.

Cody shook his head, not flinching at all at the noise, his stubborness having returned over the years. "Leave them alone."

"Dante..." Jasper mumbled in his sleep, hugging him closer.

"I was going to ask what I was meant to do..."

Ted snorted, "And why...?"

Dante smiled.

Kari peaked in on her parents with her brother.

"Oh ummm.... Write up a bio so it looks like your doing something." Jacob said with a smile.

"Because hurting my friends and family gives you even less chance of ever getting me back." Cody said.

Cole giggled quietly, looking at his sister. "Daddy's snoring again." he whispered, pulling a face.

Nathaniel nodded. "I can do that..."

Ted looked away. "Just go..... Stop tanting me....."

Kari giggled, "I think daddy is using papa as a teddy bear again."

"I'm being serious Ted. Acting like this isn't helping you at all."

Cole giggled again. "Silly daddy."

Ted didn't answer, a hurt look on his face.

Kari giggled and tiptoed in.

"You know, there used to be a part of me that still hoped you'd go back to how you used to be," Cody said quietly. "But then you just got worse instead..."

Cole quietly followed, putting a hand to his mouth as he tried not to laugh.

"Would you have left your precious Brett if i had changed....." Ted asked almost sadly, but with a hint of bitterness.

Kari slowly climbed on her parents bed.

Cody thought about it for a few minutes before answering. "Yes..." he said quietly, almost whispering.

Cole went around to climb up the other side of the bed.

Ted closed his eyes.

Brett stopped in the hallway when he heard that.

Kari jumped on her parents

Dante squeaked loudly at that.

"That was before Remy was even born though..." Cody said. "But if you hadn't changed at all..."

Jasper jumped awake, looking worried until he realised what caused Dante to make the noise, smiling at Kari when he saw her. "You're up early..."

Cole watched as Kari woke them up before jumping on Jasper, clinging onto his back, his small arms around Jasper's neck.

Ted rubbed his head, for once wishing he was back on his meds.

"We couldn't sleep no more." Kari said as Dante hugged her.

Cody watched him quietly, frowning a little.

"I can see that..." Jasper chuckled, reaching a hand up to pat Cole's head.

Ted quickly wipped the forming tears away.

Brett headed outside sadly.

"You should get a teddy bear daddy so you can stop using papa as one."

"Ted..." Cody sighed when he saw.

"What?" Jasper asked. "Why?"

Ted didn't answer Cody, too tired to care he wasn't throwing him out of his office.

"Cause you swqishing papa!" Kari said.

Cody stood there for a minute, watching him before turning to leave.

"Yeah, no squishing papa." Cole said, poking Jasper.

"But he's waaarm." Jasper said, pouting.

Ted buried his head in his hands.

Dante giggled softly.

Cody looked back at him, frowning before slowly leaving.

Cole giggled as well. "Silly daddy."

Jay looked up as Cody walked in, "Where is Brett?"

Dante smiled, "I like your daddy using me as a teddy bear when he's not squishing me."

Cody frowned slightly. "I'm not sure..."

"Daddy won't squish you if you poke him..." Cole said, grinning.

"Hey what? Why would that sto-" Jasper went to ask, stopping and biting his lip to stop himself laughing as Cole poked his side.

Brett sat out in the garden staring at the sky.

Dante smiled as Kari giggled.

"He was looking for you dad..." Remy said as he came back into the room.

"What...?" Cody asked, looking worried before he left the room again, Remy looking confused as he watched him go.

"See?" Cole said, grinning more.

Brett sighed and blinked slowly, he should of known he was just a replacement for his brother.

Kari poked his side.
