First Night On The Job

Jayden looked nerously at the assassin.
"Go rest kitten, no work for a few days." Todd said.

"You're part of Angel's family, aren't you?" Randy said, a dark look on his face as he smiled at Jayden.
Instead of getting up, Dom just curled closer.

Jayden nodded slowly, "S-She's my mother...."
Todd sighed sadly.

"Thought so." Randy said, grabbing Jayden by his hair, glaring at him with his cold, pale eyes. "Never been a fan of your family." he growled.
Dom made an upset sound again, clinging to Todd.

Jayden wimpered, not able to do anything. "W-Why...?"
Todd carried his from his office.

"I have my reasons." Randy said. "But like I'd explain them to you." he dragged Jayden towards the new room they were going to lock him in, still holding onto his hair.
Dom wrapped his arms tight around Todd's neck, leaning his head so that his blond hair covered his face.

Jayden made a pained noise.
"I am so sorry kitten." Todd said softly.

Randy tossed Jayden into the room, laughing as he locked him in.

Dom went to say 'It's not your fault', then stopped, realising it was. "...what did you do to annoy him?" he asked quietly, still hiding in his hair.

Jayden moaned as he hit the floor, having trouble getting up.
"One of his goons was messing with one of my boys i stopped it." Todd said.

Randy sat outside the room with a grin.
"Oh..." Dom said, the cheerful tone that was usually in his voice gone.

Jayden curled up sadly.
"I am sorry." Todd said softly.

Randy sat listening to music, leaning against the door.
"I know," Dom said quietly. "You didn't mean for this to happen." he kissed Todd's cheek before hiding in his hair again.

"Should we tell Angel?" Todd asked.

"Um...maybe?" Dom said, worried she'd be angry at him for it.

Adric came in the office, "Boss, they moved...."
Jayden tried to sleep.

"Wh-what?" Dom said when he heard, lifting his head, tears in his eyes.
Randy turned and purposely kicked at the door, wanting to scare him.

Adric sighed, "The house was empty."
Jayden jumped nervously.

Dom made an upset sound, burying his face against Todd, in tears.
Randy kept doing it every now and then, waiting about the time it would normally take someone to get to sleep before doing it, sometimes kicking louder than other times or not doing it at the usual time so Jayden couldn't start expecting it.

Todd closed his eyes, "Damn it."
Jayden was a nervous mess.

Dom curled closer to Todd, trying to hide the fact that he was crying.
Randy laughed when he checked on him, enjoying messing with him.

Todd rubbed his back.
Jayden teared up.

Dom stood with his arms around Todd's neck, his face against his chest as he cried, pressing close to his boss.
Randy rolled his eyes and shook his head at Jayden before leaving him alone in the room, ging off to get some food.

Todd hummed softly.
Jayden curled up tightly.

Dom made an upset sound before starting to relax a little as Todd hummed.

Todd continued humming.
Alex opened his eyes.
