A Supernatural Hunt

Dante smiled shyly as he relaxed as well.

Frankie nodded and went to open the door before finding it locked.

Jasper stayed hugging him for a bit before slowly letting Dante go, drinking more of his drink.

"What is it...?" Jacen asked, slowly going over to him.

Dante picked up his beer and had another drink.

Frankie frowned, "The door is locked..."

"So you haven't really had any close friends...?" Jasper asked after a moment.

"So we're stuck here then?" Jacen whimpered.

Dante shook his head shyly, "No... I've never really had maybe friends."

Frankie cursed before nodding, "Yeah... We're stuck..."

"Well you should have..."

Jacen bit his lip, wrapping his arms around himself. "Oh."

"I wish I had had more friends..." Dante said softly.

"I'm sorry..." Frankie sighed....

Jasper smiled softly. "You have some now at least."

"For what? It's not your fault."

Dante smiled and nodded, "And good friends they are."

"Yes it is... I got you hoping and I failed."

"Oh really?"

"It's fine." Jacen said quietly. "We can work on it..."

"You guys saved me... I'm pretty sure that besides my parents no one else would have done that."

Frankie nodded as he looked around the room, "No windows either..."

"Really? I don't think it would just be us..."

Jacen sighed, hanging his head as he leaned against the wall.

"I've never met others that care..." Dante said softly. "The other fae I was with left me alone in that forest..."

"I'm sorry..." Frankie said softly again.

"There were others with you?" Jasper asked.

"Not you fault." Jacen sighed. "...I'm just worried I guess."

"About an half an hour before the demon started tracking me... They left me behind..."

Frankie nodded slowly, "So how did you end up here?"

"Oh. Assholes..." Jasper muttered, frowning.

"I...was protecting my brother."

Dante looked down, "I know they weren't really my friends..."

Frankie frowned worriedly. "Is your brother okay? Are you okay?"

"Well you don't have to put up with them here." Jasper shrugged.

"I'm not sure if he is..." Jacen frowned, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor, hugging his knees to his chest.

Dante gave a shy smile and nodded, "Thankfully."

Frankie sighed softly before sitting next to him and wrapping a arm around him.

"And you're okay at least." Jasper smiled.

"I was supposed to protect him..." Jacen mumbled.

"Yeah, thanks to you and Alex."

"You did though... At least I think so if he's not here."

Jasper nodded, a smug look on his face.

"I hope so- Normally I can tell, but I don't know if it works from far away..." Jacen mumbled, partly to himself.

Dante finished his beer before throwing the bottle away.

"Well I'm sure he's okay..." Frankie said softly.

Jasper left his half finished bottle on the table, moving closer to Dante.

"I guess I could try and see..."

Dante looked at him with a shy smile.

"It might help..." Frankie said.
