Jacen frowned but didn't move besides letting his hair fall in his face, trying to hide the tears that were suddenly in his eyes.

Artemis sighed, glancing over at Dante. "Hopefully..."

Frankie felt more helpless the he hadin all his years with Raven.

Artemis hummed quietly, playing with Alex's hair.

Jacen eventually calmed down, slowly moving his arms to wrap them around Frankie's neck instead.

"Better...?" Artemis asked quietly after a minute or so.

Artemis eventually pulled away to breathe, slowly letting go when he remembered Dante was asleep on their bed.
