"Why'd they have to do it...?" Jacen asked quietly, trying not to sound upset.

"I don't know..." Frankie said softly.

Artemis nodded, glancing over at Evan, who was sitting with his head resting on his knees.

"What did we even do...?"

Adam got up, "How are you feeling Even?"

"We keep looking, they keep leaving trails and sooner or later we'll get then off guard."

"Hmm? Oh...um a little better, I guess." Evan said quietly, lifting his head to look at him.

"Hopefully." Jacen sighed. "What if they know and they've just been messing with us this whole time...?"

Frankie hugged him tightly agsinst him.

Jacen leaned against Frankie, but otherwise didn't move at all.

Frankie kissed the top of his head.

Evan gave a small nod, biting his lip as he watched Adam.

Jacen sighed quietly, hanging his head so his hair fell in his face.

Adam took his temp and smiled, "Its under a hundred."

"We'll get him back i'll make sure."

Evan slowly moved to lie back down, sighing quietly.

Jacen leaned close, hoping Frankie didn't notice he was in tears.

Tyler looked over at him curiously.

Frankie was crying silently into his hair.

Evan curled up, biting his lip again, nervous around so many people he didn't know.

"Did you want me to come with you while you spoke to the others?" Artemis asked Adam.

"Shall we go?" Adam asked.
