First Night On The Job

Jasper grinned and kissed him.
Jacen swore angrily when no one answered the call before sighing, putting his head in his hands.

Mikey pulled his blankets up over his face, sulking.

Dante kissed back with a smile.
Frankie sighed and hugged him.
"Why didn't you want to answer?" Zane asked.

Japser wrapped one arm tight around Dante's waist as he kissed him, moving the other lower.
Jacen curled back up against Frankie, biting his lip to stop himself going back to what he was doing when Frankie found him in the room.

"Because then I'd have to explain what happened..." Mikey muttered, still under the blankets.

Dabte moaned quietly into the kiss.
Frankie kissed the top of his head.
Zane sighed, "You will have to tell them...."

Jasper smirked and kept kissing him.
Jacen smiled and relaxed a little.

Mikey made an upset sound and shook his head.

Dante wrapped his arms around Jasper's neck.
Frankie smiled.
"But they will wonder where you were...." Zane said,

Jasper pulled Dante as close against him as possible, moving to kiss Dante's neck instead.
"What if something's happened to him...?" Jacen asked quietly, worrying again.

"I know..." Mikey sighed.

Dante made a soft noise, likeing being close with Jasper.
Frankie hugged tighter, not sure what to say.
Zane squeezed his hand.

"Want to stay here...?" Jasper asked quietly after pausing. "...or go up to one of our rooms?"
Jacen coughed before curling up tighter against Frankie.

"Can...can you tell them?" Mikey asked quietly, looking up at Zane with 'puppy dog' eyes.

"One of our rooms." Dante said with a slight flush.
"Are you ok?" Frankie asked, worried about the cough.
Zane found himself noding.

Jasper smirked and nodded, holding Dante in his arms as he got up.
"I'm fine." Jacen said, as if he hadn't coughed at all. "Besides being worried about everyone else."

Mikey gave a small smile and found Jacen's number in the phone before handing it to Zane.

Dante wrapped his arms aeound his neck.
Alex woke with a start.
:Well i'm worried about you, you don't need to get sick again."
Zane called the number.

Jasper grinned and kissed Dante before carrying him up to his room.
Feeling Alex's sudden movement, Artemis quickly opened his eyes. "Lexie?"
"I'm fine-" Jacen said, stopping instead of finishing what he was going to say when his phone rang. He quickly pulled it out of his pocket and answered it. "Hello?"

Mikey laid back down to sleep again.

Alex was breathing hard.
"Jacen..... its Zane...."

"Are you okay?" Artemis asked, worried.
"Oh, hey..." Jacen said slowly.

"N-Nightmare....." Alex said softly.
"Mikey... Mikey is in the hospital...."

Artemis frowned. "About what?"
"What?!" Jacen said, worried. "Why?"

Alex curled close before finally answering, "R-Raven and A-Austin taking o-our baby away...."
"Fpr blood loss...." Zane answered.

Artemis bit his lip and hugged Alex close, rubbing his back with one hand.
"For..." Jacen started, trailing off as he realised what Zane meant. "He...he didn't...did he...?" he asked, trying not to panic.

Alex closed his eyes as he buried his face in Artemis's chest.
"No.... He didn't mean to cut that deep......"

Artemis kept onearm wrapped tight around Alex as he rubbed his back. "It's okay," he said quietly. "You're safe here..."
"Oh..." Jacen said, staring at the floor in front of him as he spoke. "He...he's okay, right?"

Alex slowly relaxed against Artemis.
"Yeah ne is going to be fine."

Artemis just kept rubbing Alex's back, humming quietly.
"Good." Jacen sighed, relaxing a little.

Alex was soon close to dosing off again.
"I should go he might wake up again soon."

Artemis smiled and held him close, kissing his head.
"Oh right," Jacen said. "Let me know how he's doing when you can."
