First Night On The Job

Adam walked in, "What are you doing?"
Alex looked at him, "Are you ready to go?"

"Too warm..." Jacen mumbled, laying on his side.

Jasper nodded, his back to them as he picked up his knife.

Adam sighed, "No i meant what do you think you are doing not telling about coughing blood.... That could kill you Jacen..."
Alex nodded, "Come on."

"Wh-what?" Jacen said, quickly sitting up, pulling a face in pain when he did.

Jasper nodded again, moving passed them to leave the room.

Alex followed.
Adam nodded, "It could be deadly for that to be untreated.'

Artemis took Alex's hand as they walked.

Jacen made a scared sound, hugging his knees to his chest.

Alex bit his lip as they drove.
Adam started to check Jacen over.
Dante laid on the small cot, they had drugged him again.

Artemis stayed quiet as he often did when worrying and Jasper was listening to music with headphones in.

Jacen made a nervous sound, leaning away from Adam, having issues with people touching him without him letting them; especially when he was sick.

They'd left Dante alone in the room this time, only guarding from the outside of the locked room.

Alex felt his anger raise that these people would take his son.
Adam made a soothing noise, used to having to calm Jay when he was hurt or sick.

Artemis glanced over at Alex, frowning, knowing he was angry.

Being stubborn, Jacen just hugged his knees closer, still not letting Adam touch him.

Adam sighed and called Carmen.
Alex closed his eyes.

"Hello?" Carmen said as she answered.

Artemis sighed before humming quietly as he drove, trying to calm Alex down.

"He is coughing up blood and he won't let me help him...." Adam said.
Alex slowly relaxed.

"What?! Why not?" Carmen asked.

Artemis smiled and kept humming.

"I don't know." Adam said.
Alex was compeltly relaxed when they arrived.

"Usually Arty's the one that calms him down...but he's busy." Carmen sighed.

Artemis looked at Alex again when they'd stopped and reached a hand out to gently stroke Alex's cheek.

Alex opened his eyes and gave a small smile before looking at the building.
"Can you come?" Adam asked.

Artemis smiled back before looking as well.

"Isn't his friend there?" Carmen asked. "I can get him to stop being stubborn, but getting him to relax like Arty does...I'm not so good at."

Alex got out of the car.
Adam nodded, "Ok."

Artemis and Jasper got out as well, Jasper putting away his music as he looked around.

"If his friend can't fix him, I guess I can come try..." Carmen sighed.

Alex swollowed before entering the building.
"Ok." Adam said before hanging up.

Jasper looked around before pointing in the direction he'd gone last time with Dante, guessing they had Dante where Frankie had been.

Jacen coughed and shivered, wrapping his arms around himself.

Alex headed down that way, slowly making his way.
Adam sighed and talked to Frankie.

Artemis and Jasper followed, both looking to make sure no one was coming.

Jacen wasn't paying attention, putting a hand to his mouth as he coughed again.

Alex paused a few feet in front of a door with guards.
Frankie went over.
