Darryl sighed he walked into the Police station to start work for the day, a little later than he usually would show up. He looked around nervously as he walked up to the coffee machine, pouring himself a cup before going to sit down at his desk. Darryl wasn't normally jumpy like he was today, but it wasn't exactly part of his usual morning routine to recieve a message from a man who worked for the mob boss Todd Brooks, saying the boss wasn't happy with him.

Darryl had secretly been working with the boss for a few months now, helping the man to earn some extra money. He knew what he'd done wrong, he'd shot one of Todd's men while he was working, Darryl having chosen to do so to protect one of the other policemen.

He sighed as he sat at his desk, slowly drinking some of his coffee.

Zander walked up to his friends desk with a smile, "Hey Darryl."

Darryl jumped slightly at the sound before looking up, relaxing when he saw it was Zander. "Oh, hey."

"What wrong why are you so jumpy?" Zander asked his friend.

"It's nothin' Zander, don't worry. I'm fine...just didn't sleep well." Darryl lied.

"You you sure you look worried...." Zander said.

"Yeah...yeah I'm fine." Darryl said, though Zander was the person he knew he was least likely to be able to convince.

"You know you can tell me anything my friend...." Zander tried one more time.

"I know..." Darryl said, giving a small smile. "But not right now..." He said quietly.

Zander nodded and went over to his desk.

Darryl watched as Zander walked off before sighing and going back to drinking his coffee, reading through a file.

Todd enter the station.

"Hey! What are you doing in here?" One of the rookie cops asked Todd, not knowing who he was.

"I'm here to see an.... Old friend." Todd said.

"Oh...okay..." The rookie said nerovusly, not knowing if that was even allowed.

Todd smirked and looked around for Derryl.
Zander frowned when he saw him.

Zander walked over to his friends desk when he saw Todd head for him.

"Hey, what's up Zander?" Darryl asked as he looked up at him.

"What?" Darryl said, almost falling off his chair as he panicked.

"I um....nothing." Darryl said, standing up. "I'll be back..." He added before heading over to Todd. "What are you doing here?" He hissed, speaking quietly.
