Lucas smiled and held him, "You'll like my girls if you get to meet them. Emily, she's a tomboy. Told me once she wanted to be like daddy when she grew up. And Alyssa is a sweet little girl."

Cody smiled as he listened, then looked up at Lucas, raising an eyebrow. "Wants to be like you how?"

"I played baseball," smiled Lucas.

"Oh, that's ok then." Cody said.

Lucas smiled, "I wouldn't let her become an assassin."

"Good." Cody said, hugging him tight.

Lucas nodded, "I made that mistake for myself..."

"Hmm...but if you didn't, you wouldn't be sitting here right now..." Cody said.

"I guess that's true," chuckled Lucas.

Cody nodded. "You wouldn't know me if you weren't one." He said, kissing Lucas.

"True," Lucas replied with a chaste kiss.

Cody smiled into the kiss, leaning closer to Lucas.

Lucas smiled and pulled back when Carter entered the room.

Carter chuckled, "Don't mind me boys. Was just comin' in here t' get my guitar."

Cody blushed, burying his face against Lucas' shoulder to hide it.

Carter laughed, "Don't have to be shy."

Lucas laughed, "Something tells me that's part of his charm."

Cody smiled and lifted his head after a few seconds, wrapping his arms around Lucas' neck instead.

Carter smiled, "Should I leave or can I stay in here?"

"It's up to Cody," smiled Lucas.

"I don't mind.." Cody said quietly.

Carter smiled and sat down, tuning his guitar and playing it with his hat over his eyes.

Lucas smiled, "You don't have to be so scared of him."

"Never said I was," Cody said. "I know Carter's a nice person."

Carter looked up, "Me? Nice? Psft, I'm a grade A jerk."

Lucas laughed, "Your so nervous though."

"Not to me you aren't." Cody told Carter before looking at Lucas. "Am not..." He said, blushing slightly.

Carter laughed, "I'm not to anyone. I just wanted to see if you'd buy it. Which you didn't."

Lucas laughed, "You were blushing."

Cody pouted, folding his arms. "No fair.."

Lucas laughed, "You were too."
