Peter nodded as he thought about it, it would take a while to find a new place. "I suppose."

"It'd be a lot better for you." Marco told him. He wasn't even sure why though, the man may have been his boss, but he barely knew him and wasn't really the type of person who normally gave advice to people.

Peter nodded, as much as this was the last place he had been with Aiden, it hurt too much to be there, "We'll look for a buyer tomorrow." He finally said.

Marco nodded in return and fell silent, turning in his seat to watch everyone again.

Peter sighed softly and looked down at the books he was working on.

Marco stayed quiet the rest of the time, unless he had to ask something related to the work. He did occasionally glance at his boss though, a little worried about him.

More then a few times Peter found his hands shaking, being in this build wasn't good for him at all. He took another stiff drink before trying to finish quickly so he could leave this damn place, he closed the books as soon as he did and started for the door.

Marco couldn't help but worry every time he looked over at Peter. His boss appeared at times to be okay, but other times he looked like he was barely keeping himself together. As soon as he saw Peter close his books, he made his way over, staying a few steps behind as Peter headed for the door.

Peter reached the door, moving to open it when he suddenly jumped at the sound of a glass breaking. His eyes looked around fearfully, his mind going back to that night.

Marco quickly spun around at the noise, automatically moving to stand in front of Peter, looking around to see where the noise had come from.

Peter swallowed hard when no new noise followed, a false alarm.

Marco stayed on guard, though he did relax a little bit. He put a hand on Peter's shoulder to get his attention. "Let's just go," he said.

Marco guided Peter towards the exit, keeping a hand on his shoulder. He still kept an eye out though to make sure the noise really was nothing.

Peter sighed as he left the building, walking over to his car.

Marco was silent as he followed, still keeping an eye out as they got into the car. "It was nothing..." he muttered, trying to reassure them both.
