A Supernatural Hunt

"Yeah, but they could of hurt you when they got me... Or Jasper might of got pissed and hurt you..."
Leo moved closer, "Rest, your still really hurt despite being healed..."

"But I should of been able to stop them..."

"He-he'd do that?" Artemis asked worriedly, glancing at the vampire.
"I...was healed?" Joseph asked, only really half awake.

Marco shook his head. "I shouldn't have used up all my energy when I went off earlier..."

"Only if he thought you hurt me, he's like a big brother." Alex answered, rubbing his arm softly.
Leo nodded, "Yeah... I-I was so worried."

"We were out numbered..."

"Right." Artemis said, nodding.
Joseph let out a sigh. "I thought I was..."

"Yeah." Marco muttered. "We were."

Alex leaned against him.
"S-So did I..." Leo admitted.

"We'll get them back right?"

Artemis smiled and hugged him close.
"Sorry..." Joseph said quietly.

"I don't know." Marco admitted.

Alex smiled softly as he relaxed.
"Its not your fault, I'm just so happy you are okay." Leo said softly before looked down at his box with his ring.

Artemis leaned his head on Alex's with a smile.
Joseph nodded before leaning back, pulling a face.

"I missed you." Alex said softly.
"You okay?" Leo asked worriedly.

"I missed you too." Artemis replied.
Joseph shrugged his shoulders before pulling a face in pain.

Alex rubbed his cheek against his arm.
"We need to get you meds." Leo said softly.

Artemis laughed quietly and kissed his head.
"Mm." Joseph replied, closing his eyes again.

Alex smiled at the kiss to his head.
"I'm going to carry you okay?" Leo asked.

Artemis smiled shyly and pulled away.
"But I'm-" Joseph mumbled before pulling a face again.

"We should get started back to the house before dawn." Alex said softly.
Leo pulled him on top of his back.

"Right, probably." Artemis agreed.
Joseph let out a small hiss, but then slowly relaxed, lying his head on Leo's back.

Alex squeezed his head softly before standing up.
Leo made a soft upset noise as his hiss of pain.

"Ready to go?" Jasper asked them.
"'m fine..." Joseph mumbled, half asleep.

Alex nodded, "Yeah I think so."
Leo sighed softly before starting again.

Jasper nodded and went to get the others moving.
Joseph yawned and drifted off again.

"How far are we away from home?" Alex asked.
Leo kept walking.

"Not too far." Jasper replied.
"Is...he alright?" Jacen asked Leo.

"Good, I'll feel better at home." Alex replied back.
"I'm not sure..." Leo said softly.

"Same here." Jasper nodded.
"Why not?" Jacen asked.

Alex smiled softly.
"He's still in pain..."
