Together We Stand (Group Thread)

In the time of legends and myths, there were five kingdoms. To the north, there was the kingdom of ice ran by the beloved Lacroix family. The nation was ran by the father, Harris. He was a strong man, once a former hired sword for the kingdom but had married the princess Diana, who bore four children. The oldest of these children was Carter Lacroix, a strong prince who idolized his father and dreamed of being king. The second oldest was Vance Lacroix, a scribe who valued eduaction. The youngest male was Kip, a braggart who kept his love for the rest of the kingdom to have. The youngest of all the children was the fairhearted Nolee Lacroix. She grew tempted by a man named Randall, a prince of the dark lands whose people wanted utter and total control. Randall capitalized on her love and murdered her father, the siblings scrambling to escape. The four male sons were split but Nolee could not escape, becoming the young wife of the devilish shadow king.

Randal planned on taking other kingdoms under his power, no matter where they were located.

The nation of fire, a barren wasteland led by a young high priestess named Diamund, was the one who called the rulers of other kingdoms to collect at a conference, making sure to keep the news away from Randall and his two kingdoms. She stood gracefully in the room she had set aside for them to meet, making sure that they would be comfortable. She heard the door to the hall open and took a deep breath, "Welcome, m humblest rulers, to my kingdom."

Arella was known as the queen of the Crystal kingdom; made up of massive glittering caves with many types of crystals growing inside. If it didn't reflect the colours of the crystals her kingdom was known for, people would have thought her pink hair was strange. Instead, people saw it as a reflection of her home. While she had an older brother, Arella ruled as queen and Dylan stayed by her side as her guard. He had chosen the position over king himself, yet was often asked why, much to his annoyance.

The two of them had both travelled away from home to meet with the High Priestess Diamund and both bowed respectfully when they entered her hall.

"It is always a pleasure," Arella said in response to their hosts greeting. "We aren't the only ones here yet, are we?" She asked before glancing over her shoulder.

Angel the queen of the queen of the flora, an kingdom known for its forests and jungles which covered almost all of her lands, stood up at the question. "Nay I and my brother arrived only a short while ago."

Leo stood up and gave a polite bow, he was Angel's younger brother and despite the thoughts of some of the duke agreed his sister should be the one to rule and acted as a knight for her.

Jay a servant for the queen stood at the back of the room.

Diamund bowed polietly in the direction of her guests. She knew that each was a powerful female leader, whose brother had decided to play warrior or protector to the throne. "I am honored that you would come on such short notice. Especially when summoned by a woman who is not a powerful and dutiful queen such as yourselves. We shall adjourn to another room, we never know who is watching; Queen Angel, Queen Arella."

She knew that the other women would follow her, there was no doubt on that. They were educated, knew that they would need to speak freely about the problem that plagued her land. She also knew that they had no idea of the man who stood at her right, with his hair white as the frosts from the lands he came from. Prince Carter had come to Diamund begging shelter, which she had freely given.

Arella nodded and followed the Priestess into the other room, her brother following close behind, both wary of their surroundings. They rarely left their crystal kingdom simply because they didn't feel as comfortable away from all the crystals as they did with them. Without the sparkling stones, they felt like their surroundings were just not right, like they were missing something; the problem occurring more often with the queen then it did her brother or the rest of the crystal kingdom.

As they followed, Arella saw the white haired man and couldn't help but wonder who he was, guessing he wasn't Diamund's brother. She tilted her head slightly to one side, watching him curiously for a moment before shrugging it off, turning her attention back to their host.

Angel looked at the two new guests and rose, "Hello." She bowed gracefully before sitting again, she fanned herself. The heat in this kingdom was hard on her, she was used to the mild heat of her wooded kingdom.

Jay handed his queen a cooling goblet of water, knowing the heat would bothering her. He slowly returned to the back of the room, glancing shyly at the white haired man as he did.

Dia looked at Queen Angel before offering an apologetic smile, "I am most sorry that the heat is hard on you. I suppose I don't recognize it bothering me because I am so very use to it."

She pushed open the double doors that led to the war room she was alloted by the king, her brother Xavier. "As you two very well know...King Randall has been leading his troops to conquer other kingdomes. It is sad news to report that he conquered the one of ice a few months back. The princes have escaped, thankfully, but the youngest child, the princess, has been forced into marriage with the brute."

"The one good thing we have," the white haired youth spoke, "is that fact that he doesn't know I'm alive. My name is Carter Lacroix and I am crown prince of the icelands."

Arella's eyes widened as Dia opened the doors to the war room, taking in the decoration as they followed her. It was very different from her kingdom and she found it quite interesting to see. As Dia spoke of the events that had caused them to gather however, she stopped and frowned, nodding slowly. "Aye, it is sad indeed. I'd worried what had become of the princess when I first heard, it is a cruel fate to be stuck with a man like King Randall..."

Her brother tensed as the white haired man spoke, always wary of strangers, especially in an unfamiliar location. He relaxed though and glanced at his sister before bowing his head respectfully when the man introduced himself as one of the Lacroix princes.

"You...are one of the princes?" Arella asked, looking surprised. "How did you make it here?"
