A Supernatural Hunt

Dante nodded with a small smile, "Its a start though."

Alex jumped slightly as he looked around the room, "What..."
Mason was reading.

"It is." Jasper agreed.

"You- you aren't another demon are you?" Jacen asked after a moment.
Marco stood in the doorway, watching for a moment. "Sir?"

"We can call your friend Leo right?" Dante asked, not sure if they had phones here.

"N-No... Not a demon... I'm a Kitsune..." Alex answered softly.
Mason looked up, "Ah Marco." He smiled.

Jasper nodded before disappearing upstairs, coming back with a mobile phone.

"Kitsune..." Jacen said under his breath before realising what that meant.
"It's you!" He said, quickly getting up and going over to Alex. "You- you know my brother, don't you?"
Marco nodded and took a few steps into the room. "We got it." He said with a grin.

Dante smiled softly when he saw Jasper return.

Alex nodded slowly, "Yeah Artemis... Your Jacen right?" He asked softly.
Mason grinned widely, "I knew you could do it!"

"Here." Jasper said, handing him the phone, glaring at Artemis before going back upstairs.

Jacen nodded. "Yeah."
"Thanks to Peter's help though..." Marco said.

Dante sighed softly as he glanced back at the angel.

"Your brother is very worried about you." Alex said softly, rubbing his mark.
"Then he will be rewarded as well, I'm proud of the two of you."

Artemis was sitting on a chair with his knees to his chest and his head in his hands.

"He is...?"
Marco nodded. "Thank you sir."

Dante gently touched his shoulder, "It's going to be okay."

Alex nodded, "He is, he thought he heard you in the forest when we were walking together before they got me..."
Mason went over to him, "Good job Marco."

Artemis lifted his head a little to look at him. "...you think so?"

"Oh." Jacen frowned and hung his head. "So it's my fault you're here."
Marco smiled a little, watching as Mason came closer.

Dante nodded, "Yeah, if we all work hard I know we'll get him back... You need to keep that in mind... I'm sure he'll be so happy to see you again."

"No... The demons were after me anyway... I think it's cause... I'm a kitsune..."
Mason pulled him close.

Artemis slowly nodded. "I guess so."

"Right; sorry." Jacen said quietly.
Marco tensed for a moment before leaning against him.

Dante sighed softly, wanting to help.

Alex rubbed his mark again, feeling upset and wanting Artemis there.
Frankie frowned when he saw the kitsune grow upset.
Mason smiled, "Are you alright?"

"Your friend was mad at me..." Artemis mumbled.

"...they didn't hurt you or Arty, did they?" Jacen asked.
Marco hesitated for a moment. "Of course."

"He's just worried... He and Alex are good friends." Dante said softly.

"No Arty is fine..." Alex answered, his ribs bruised a little.
"Good." Mason smiled.

"I'm worried too." Artemis muttered, not happy with Jasper.

Jacen nodded, looking relieved. "That's good..."
Marco smiled a little in return before resting his head against Mason's chest.

"You really like Alex don't you..." Dante said softly.

Alex nodded before slowly sitting down, "I don't like it here..."
Mason smiled before playing with a piece of his short hair.

Artemis blushed slightly as he nodded.

"It hasn't been too bad, yet." Jacen said before frowning. "They've mostly just left us here..."
Marco smiled and slowly relaxed, wrapping an arm around Mason.

Dante squeezed his shoulder softly before looking at the phone in his hand.

Alex nodded worriedly, "What do... You think they want with me..?"
Mason relaxed, feeling glad.

"I guess we should call then?"

Jacen sighed. "I'm not sure."
Marco eventually lifted his head. "What did you want me to do now?" He asked.

Dante nodded, "Yeah." He dialed the number.

Alex bit his lip before shifting into his fox form.
"Maybe we should bring him here."

Artemis got up to get him a drink.

Joseph jumped awake at the sound of Leo's phone, quickly sitting up.

"What're you doing?" Jacen asked.
Marco raised an eyebrow. "You mean the dog?"

Leo answered his phone and talked to Dante, frowning as he listened.

Alex hid under the bed in the room.

"We have to get the drug ready." Mason nodded.

"...what is it?" Joseph asked quietly.

"Alex?" Jacen frowned, confused.

Marco nodded. "Right."

"The demons... They have Lexie..." Leo said softly.

Dante sighed as he hung up.

Alex peaked out from under the bed.

"When your ready."
