Old Friends

"I love you..." Jacen whispered after calming down a little.

"Why we in there?"

"I love you too." Frankie whispered back.

"Because it has all of my family in it and your family."

Jacen smiled and lifted his head to look up at Frankie.

"Oh." Cole grinned and moved closer, hugging Dante.

Frankie smiled down at him, "I love you." He said again.

Dante smiled and hugged Cole tightly.

Jacen reached up and wrapped his arms around Frankie's neck, leaning close.

"Cake time now?" Cole asked after a moment, grinning.

Frankie smiled and kissed him softly.

Dante chuckled softly, "We have to ask Daddy."

Jacen smiled and kissed back, running a hand through Frankie's hair.

"You just had breakfast not too long ago." Artemis laughed.

Frankie smiled and pulled him closer.

Kari laughed at her twin, "Cole-Cole is silly papa!"

Jacen smiled shyly and kissed him again.

Cole pouted before sticking his tongue out at her. "Noooo."

Frankie smiled softly as he kissed back.

Kari giggled, "Yesssss."

Jacen leaned close, playing with Frankie's hair with one hand.

Cole laughed, curling close to Dante.

Frankie smiled softly and watched him.

Dante smiled and hugged him tightly.

Leo finished cooking.

Jacen sighed after a moment and buried his face against Frankie's neck.

"Love you papa."

Joseph was sitting nearby, doing work on a laptop to avoid going over to him.

Frankie carefully rubbed his back.

"Love you little one." Dante replied.

Leo smiled as he brought over two plates.

Jacen relaxed against him, closing his eyes.

"And Kari?" Cole asked.

Joseph looked up at him with a small smile. "Thank you."

Frankie smiled and leaned his head on his head.

"And Kari and Soren too." Dante answered.

"No problem." Leo smiled as he sat down.

Jacen eventually fell asleep on him, tired after having been up so early.

Cole smiled and nodded. "And daddy?"

Joseph moved his laptop aside so he could start eating.

Frankie dosed off as well.

"Yes and daddy." Dante chuckled softly.

Leo started on his own plate.

"What about us?" Artemis asked teasingly.

Joseph ate quietly before watching Leo.

"Of course I love you and papa." Dante said as he stuck out his tongue.

Leo finished before putting his plate away.

Artemis chuckled and leaned forwards to kiss his head.

"Everything okay?" Joseph asked him.

Dante smiled happily and hugged him.

Leo smiled and nodded, 'Yeah."

"So do you like your presents?" Artemis asked as he hugged back.

"Good." Joseph smiled, getting up from the table.

Dante smiled and nodded, "Yeah, they were great daddy."

Leo smiled and leaned slightly against the wall as he watched.

"What else did you get?" Jasper asked curiously.

Joseph did some of the dishes before going over to him.
