Old Friends

Adam smiled, "How are you feeling?"

"He ate just a little..." Frankie said softly.

Connor looked up, "What is that?"

"Alright I guess." Evan said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Why only a little?" Artemis asked, trying not to start worrying again.

Will shrugged his shoulders. "Hopefully your brother."

Adam nodded, "Your fever went down."

"His food when cold inbetween him eating..."

Connor nodded, "Yeah."

"It did?" Evan asked, looking hopeful.

"Why wasn't he eating in the first place?" Artemis asked, not really thinking about it first.

"You can go check if you want to." Will said before heading out the other door of the room.

Adam nodded, "Yep, it shouldn't be too much longer til your all better."

Frankie sighed at him...

Connor nodded and opened the door.

"Good." Evan said with a small smile.

"...what is it?" Artemis asked, looking worried.

Hearing the door open, Oliver paused halfway down the hallway, a hood hiding his face.

Adam smiled and got up, "How long had Tyler been up?"

Frankie sighed and told Artemis everything.

"Brother?" Connor asked the hooded figure.

"Uh, I'm not sure," Evan answered. "A little while I guess."

Artemis frowned and slowly shook his head, hugging Frankie once he had finished talking.

Hearing the familiar voice Oliver couldn't help but smile, slowly turning to look at him.

Adam nodded, "Did he seem okay?"

Frankie sighed as he hugged back.

Connor smiled at his older brother, "Your back!"

"I think so..."

"Did you end up finding anything else out while you were gone?" Artemis asked. "Jacen never said..."

"Of course I am." Oliver replied.

Adam nodded, "Well that's a good sign."

"We have more hints about who did it..." Frankie said softly.

"How did it go?" Connor asked.

"You'd hope so." Evan said.

"Really? Like what...?"

"Fine, as usual." Oliver shrugged, not liking to brag about his work.

Adam nodded, "Yeah..."

"Raven wasn't the main mind behind it..."

Connor nodded, "Good, boss was a little worried I think."

Evan gave a small smile, glancing at Tyler.

"He wasn't?" Artemis asked. "Who was then...?"

"What? ...why?"

Tyler was resting quietly.

"I didn't get a name yet." Frankie said,

"He said you took longer then normal."

"But Raven's working with them...?" Artemis asked.

"It was fine." Oliver repeated, hesitating before speaking again. "...I stopped off on the way back."

Frankie nodded, "Yeah... And rumor is they tried to get Peter too..."

"Where did you stop?" Connor asked curiously.

"Peter? The one that...?" Artemis started, trailing off, worried he'd upset Frankie.

"Nowhere." Oliver said quickly, turning to walk away.

Frankie sighed and nodded, "Yeah... Him..."

Connor sighed as he watched.

"Not surprising that he's involved..." Artemis muttered, rolling his eyes.

Oliver went into the bathroom, accidentally leaving the door half open. He went over to the mirror, lowering his hood, sighing when he saw he had a black eye.

Frankie sighed, "It's not ever for sure that he is..."

Connor folloewed and peaked into his brother's room.

"It wouldn't surprise me considering what they took..." Artemis said quietly.

Seeing Connor in the mirror, Oliver jumped slightly and quickly pulled his hood back up, hoping he hadn't seen.

Frankie sighed and nodded, "I know..."

"Oliver! What happened?" Connor said as he walked into the room.

"You think he'd do something like that?"

"Nothing, I'm fine." Oliver said quickly.

"I don;t know man... I've heard he has been staying away from anything to do wih us."

"You have a black eyes brother!"
