Old Friends

"So how did the job go?"

Jasper nodded, carefully lifting Kari as he got up.

"It went well, no problems."

Dante gathered Cole up in his arms.

Adam looked over at Evan.

"Good." Mikey smiled, hugging him tight.

"We'll be back in a minute." Jasper said to Adam before taking Kari upstairs.

Evan was lying on the couch with his eyes half closed.

Zane smiled as he hugged his Mikey back tightly.

Dante followed him with Cole.

Adam wiped the blood from his hands.

"I love you." Mikey said quietly, putting a hand on one of Zane's cheekc as he looked up at him.

Jasper carefully put Kari down in her bed.

"Is he okay...?" Evan asked, looking over at the stranger.

"I love you too Mikey." Zane smiled kissing the top of his head.

Dante cover cole with a blanket.

"He's not in the best of shape right now.... stab wound is pretty deep."

Mikey grinned, leaning against him.

Cole made a small noise and shifted slightly before curling up.

"What happened?" Evan asked, not having heard the others earlier.

Zane took his hand and started to lead him to their room/

"He was attacked... Two people at the least.... We don't know how he got here."

Mikey glanced at Adam and the others before following happily.

"Oh..." Evan said, frowning.

"He had a dogtag with his name." Adam said.

Dante walked down the stairs.

"He did?" Evan asked, looking curious.

Jasper was still upstairs making sure the twins were actually asleep.

"Said his name is Tyler Black." Adam answered,

Dante half collaped half sat on the stairs, feeling tired.

Evan slowly nodded, trying to think of whether he knew the name or not.

"Hey, what are you doing down there?" Artemis asked when he saw Dante, on his way downstairs. "Are you alright...?"

Tyler groaned and moved a little.

"Just... Tired daddy..." Dante said softly. as he looked at father.

Hearing the noise, Evan shifted slightly, sitting up a little to try and look at him properly.

"Is everything okay?" Artemis asked, holding a hand out to help him up.

Tyler was still out of it as he somewhat settled again.
Adam sighed as he watched, "I'm worried...."

Dante took his father's hand and started to stand as he told him everything at had been happning.

"Why...?" Evan asked, frowning.

"Oh...they aren't going to be more guests that never leave are they?" Artemis asked, joking about how Frankie and Zane ended up staying.

"He's pretty out of it..." Adam said softly.

Dante laughed softly at that, "Who knows papa..."

Evan frowned and nodded as he looked over at the other man again.

"Well I guess we should go check on them huh?" Artemis said, leading him downstairs.

Tyler was sweating a little.

"Probably should daddy." Dante said as he followed.

"Is that normal...?" Evan asked Adam.

Artemis nodded and headed to the living room with him.

"No not really... He must of got a fever...." Adam said softly.

"Daddy thats my friend Evan on the couch, the other one is the one that came to the house." Dante siad softly.

"From what?" Evan frowned.

"Oh, this is Evan?" Artemis said with a small smile. "Any idea who he is?" He asked as he looked at the other man.

Adam sighed, "His body is fighting on infection...." He got a shot ready.

"I think they found a dogtag that said tyler Black." Dante answered.

"From the wound...?" Evan asked.

"Oh..." Artemis said, nodding.
