When will love be through with me?

"I heard what happened to Casey and i wanted to see he was ok..." Alex answered softly.

Regal nodded. "Oh, Will there you are." He smiled, going over to pick up his grandson.

Alex moved away and slowly headed towards the door.

"You don't have to go..." Casey said, frowning when Alex moved away.

Alex paused, not sure if he'd be allowed to stay or not.

"Why don't you go with your friend for a bit?" Regal said quietly to Casey, who nodded before getting up and going over to Alex.

Alex smiled softly at Casey and gave a wave to Will as they left the room, his stomach grumbled from the food he had yet to get.

Will smiled and waved back before drinking some of his juice he'd almost forgotten he'd been carrying. Regal sat down on the couch with him, asking his grandson a question.

"You alright?" Casey asked as he shut the door behind them.

"I havn't eaten today.... and i threw up eariler." Alex answered.

Casey frowned. "Well eating normally helps. You didn't even have breakfast?"

"I was.... Tired after last night..." Alex answered softly.

"You should still eat." Casey told him, his medical training showing through.

"I know..." Alex said softly as he walked into the kitchen.

"The stress from being back around Austin probably isn't helping you either..." Casey said, frowning.

Alex nodded sadly, his mind went to Artemis.

Casey watched him quietly for a minute before moving to start making food for them.

Alex watched him for a second before moving to help.

"You don't want to sit down?" Casey asked him.

"Don't you need help with your arm?" Alex asked back.

"Oh...right," Casey frowned, sighing. "I guess I do..."

Alex sighed and gently patted his good shoulder/.

Casey gave a small smile. "So what did you want to eat?"

"Grilled cheese?" Alex asked.

"Alright." Casey said, smiling and nodding, moving to get what they needed.

Alex smiled and helped him.
