"Its still the same... Has he been taking the other meds? Or just the pain meds?"

"So how do you know Lex?"

"Regal." Grel said as he sat down.

"I... Just the ones you gave him I think..." Jacen said.

The blonde shook his head instead of answering.

"How is everything?" Regal asked.

Adam nodded, "I was hoping they would help with the fever already...."

"Tell me...." Austin said.

"Fine... Yourself?"

"So why wouldn't it have worked yet...?" Jacen asked.

The blonde shook his head again.

"I'm fine I suppose." Regal shrugged.

"And number of reasons..." Adam said, "He could just be working through it... Which means his fever may break soon."

Austin frowned, "Tell me!"

"I heard you hired a new assassin.."

"What if it doesn't?" Jacen asked, worried.

"N-No..." The blonde said quietly, obviously nervous.

Regal nodded. "The one who just passed you, his name's Austin."

"Then we will have to put him in the hospital."

Austin growled. "Tell me..."

Grel nodded, "i see."

At the word 'hospital', Artemis went tense and made a nervous sound.

The blonde shook his head again, nervously taking a step away from Austin.

Regal nodded. "He still has to prove how useful he is before I let him stay though."

Alex ran his fingers through his hair to try and calm him down.

Austin took a step forward.

Grel nodded, "You hear about Ric yet?"

Artemis slowly relaxed again at Alex's touch, carefully moving a little closer to him.

The blonde made a nervous sound, unable to move away anymore, his back to the wall.

Regal frowned and nodded. "Of course I have."

Alex continued to run his fingers through his hair as he held him.

"Tell me!" Austin said one last time.

"Can you believe he left it all to that Todd kid."

Jacen watched with a worried look on his face until Artemis had calmed down again.

"No..." The blonde said quietly.

"I have no idea why he'd do such a thing." Regal said bitterly.

Alex whispered softly to Artemis, slipping into Italian.

Austin glared down at him, "If you don't it will be worse for you... And Alex."

"Any ideas where the kid even came from?" Grel asked.

"You know I don't understand..." Artemis mumbled, trailing off.

"No! Please don't...don't hurt him..."

Regal sighed and shook his head. "Not really, no."

"Sorry Arty..." Alex said with a slight flush, it was something he did when he was worried.

"Even tell me." Austin said, sure the blonde would crack now.

Grel nodded slowly, "Well i guess there is a new bpss in the business..."

"It's okay..." Artemis said quietly, opening his eyes a little to look up at him.

"You'll just hurt him anyway..." The blonde said, shaking his head again.

"I guess so..." Regal muttered.

Alex smiled down softly at him.

Austin growled fusratedly.

"Well i should get back to Ted."

Artemis gave a small smile back.

"I...I know who you are, I'm not letting you hurt him."

"Ted didn't send you here to talk about anything else?" Regal asked curiously.

Alex hummed softly.

"Oh do you?" Austin asked with a raised brow.

"Oh he heard that the Moore kid his missing."

Artemis smiled and reached for his hand before looking up at Adam.

"Yes..." The blonde whispered, obviously scared.

"Did he?" Regal grinned.

Adam smiled at him. "Here u have something that will help the fever."

Austin smirked.

"Yeah." Grel answered. "They say even the bofyguard is gone."

"I'm fine though..." Artemis mumbled, Jacen rolling his eyes afterwards.

"I heard he hates you..."

"I wouldn't say they're missing," Regal smirked. "But that's just me."

"You need to break this fever..." Adam said as he got the meds ready.

"My Lex does not!" Austin growled.

"You know something?" Grel asked with a raised brow.

Artemis sighed and rolled his eyes.

"From what I've heard he does..."

"Of course I do." Regal smirked.

Adam sighed and looked at Alex.
Alex looked worriedly at Artemis. "Arty please... I'm worried about you."

Austin's fists clunched tight, "Liar!"

"So what did he do that got him in trouble with you?"
