I'm fine if I can fool myself tonight

"...why?" Artemis asked, frowning as he moved closer to the bed.

Seth smiled and gently kissed him.

"Peter drugged him with soething..."

Jay smiled happily.

"Oh...right." Artemis frowned, looking worried as he went over to them. "Jacen...?" He said softly, seeing his brother curled up with his eyes closed.


Seth smiled back at Jay, hugging him close.

Frankie stroked Jacen's hair carefully.

Jay relaxed against him, never wanting to let go.

Jacen opened his dark eyes, slowly loooking up at Frankie, looking scared.

"I love you." Seth said quietly, kissing his head.

"Its okay Jacen.... I'm not going to let anything hurt you." Frankie said softly.

"I love you too." Jay replied softlly.

"I-I know..." Jacen said quietly, turning to hug Frankie.

Artemis sighed quietly and sat down on the edge of the bed, watching them.

Seth smiled and hugged Jay as close as he coukd without accidentally hurting himself.

Frankie hugged him back protectively.

Jay rested his head on his shoulder.

Julian sighed and tried to call again.

Jacen smiled and slowly relaxed in Frankie's arms, reaching a hand up to play with a bit of Frankie's hair.

Seth softly smiled, closing his eyes, but then jumped and quickly opened them again when Jay's phone rang.

Frankie smiled back at him.

Jay quickly answered his phone.

Artemis slowly reached out to pick up the needle from where Frankie had left it, holding it out to Frankie once he saw Jacen had relaxed.

Seth looked up at Jay, raising an eyebrow, curious to know who was calling.

Frankie sighed and took the needle from Artemis.

"Its Jude." Jay said holding the phone out.

Jacen shifted slightly when he noticed, but then relaxed again, staying leaning against Frankie.

"Oh," Seth nodded, reaching out to take the phone. "Julian?"

Frankie stroked his hair, before carefully giving him the shot.

"Daddy?" Julian said as he finally heard his father speak.

Jacen whimpered when he felt the needle in his arm, curling up again.

"Hey..." Seth said softly.

Frankie finished and hugged Jacen tighter.

"Daddy! Its been a week, i was so worried! Neither you papa or uncle Cody answered your phone."

"It's okay Jacen, you know we wouldn't do anything like he did," Artemis said softly, moving closer to his twin, gently putting a hand on his arm. "Like we'd let you forget how much fun we have buggin' you." He added jokingly, poking him.

Jacen jumped slightly as he was poked, but laughed quietly, giving a small smile.


"I know, we're sorry Julian, we were just...busy." Seth said slowly.

Frankie smiled, "Your med should help you feel a lot better."

"You okay aren't you?" Julian asked softly, he had been over worried.

Jacen gave a small nod, turning to bury his face against Frankie's chest.

"Yeah...I'm fine." Seth answered.

Frankie just tightened his hold.

"Good i was worried." Julian said relaxing.

"Forrest..." Artemis sighed quietly as he watched, moving a little closer to rub Jacen's back.

"We're fine Julian," Seth said, deciding it was better not to tell him what happened. "How are you doing?"

Frankie watched before glancing down at Jacen.

"I've been okay, the baby moved yesterday." Julian smiled as he answered.

Jacen slowly started relaxing again, eventually looking up at Frankie.

"Oh good," Seth smiled. "That's always a good sign."

Frankie smiled at him.

Julian smiled and nodded, 'Yeah, Remy felt him kick too."

Leo yawned softly as he woke up.

"I love you." Jacen said quietly, leaning closer to kiss Frankie.

Artemis gave a small smile, gently petting Jacen's head before getting up to leave the room, letting them have their time together.

Joseph was already up, out in the kitchen cooking food for them.
